The inventor of the prostate specific antigen or PSA blood test, Richard J. Ablin. Ph. D. , wrote a book titled The Great Prostate Hoax, in which he says he personally has never taken the PSA blood test despite his age and family history of prostate cancer. When I studied this in detail some years ago I found there is little or no evidence currently available treatment for prostate cancer extends lifespan.
Another book, Man to Man, Surviving Prostate Cancer, by Michael Korda quoted a prostate cancer survivor saying 5 good years without the effects of prostate cancer treatment would have been better than the 15 years post prostate cancer treatment he'd had.

OK- It's not totally in line with sex- but I've found good advice on a lot of topics on this board. I love mongering, and now with recent diagnosis of prostate cancer, my best prognosis is I'll be incontinent and impotent for 3-6 weeks, and you'll never ejaculate. Worse is possible, impotence forever, colostomy, including a lot of guys that experience shortening of the dick. I was just diagnosed via a PSA test and biopsy follow up. After the biopsy I couldn't monger because my semen was blood red. Now 2 weeks and about 10 ejaculations later, it is returning to light pink, and I can consider subjecting my fave's to it. I'll be having surgery within 3 months, and plan to viagra up and raise hell while I can.
Reading of tricks on the internet to prevent post prostatectomy penis shrinkage, similar to some of the enlargement threads on this forum.
I love this forum, love not being impotent and incontinent, and don't want to see my dick get any smaller. Is it better to keep your potency and live a shorter life, than a longer life impotent? Decision I am facing now.
Get your PSA tested- the biopsy ain't that bad and in best case they catch it early, do a robotic prostatectomy, and you are only incontinent and impotent for 3 weeks.
This is one disease where the rosiest outcome is a piece of shit.
Wish me luck in this journey, and if you have a god, I'll take any prayers that my incontinence and impotence is gone in 3 weeks, and my dick doesn't get shorter.
