My $1,200 stimulus check will go straight to the bank when it arrives. I need the cushion in case I'm furloughed or laid off. Plenty of other folks have lost their jobs and they'll spend their checks on necessities such as rent, mortgages or groceries. The bottom line is demand will decrease. While some providers are taking time off as well, those still working will have to adjust their rates downward if they want to stay in business.

It's an interesting question for sure. I honestly doubt we'll see much movement from the truly high end escorts (actual model-quality girls posting on Eros, real porn stars, etc). Their clients tend to be upper-middle class professionals, traveling businessmen types, or rich dudes that will pay whatever these girls are asking. Right now the downturn is mostly affecting people in the service industry, retail, and other working class industries.

Depending on how much longer the stay-at-home order stays in effect we may see some minor movement from the lower end girls (the fiends / streetwalkers) and the mid-tier girls (most of the ones posting on EB / STG). Like you said, there will come a point where the ones who need a fix will do anything to get it. I think the real changes will come after COVID dies down though. Though I kinda doubt it. The majority of escorts, MPs, SBs, etc. Will likely keep the same prices, or raise them, because: 1) They've got bills to pay, 2) Their handler or mama-san expects an uninterrupted flow, 3) They actually think they're worth the asking price, and / or 4) There's dudes who can't just rub one out nor take a break from the hobby (pandemic be damned), thereby creating the demand which they'll feed off. There won't EVER be a better time to curb the GPS running rampant in this area. But there's too many folks that just don't care or who somehow justify the rewards outweighing the risks.
