Back in "normal" times, when I was traveling, I had the same idea. I tried the Tinder thing. Nobody was interested in some 50+ dude in town for a few days. I was too cheap to pay for the upgrade to try to book dates early, so the app would only work in that area when I was physically in the area. Then I got on SA (Seeking Arrangements, or just Seeking dot com now), as I got a few SB's here at home. I changed the location and started to ping ladies in the area. Non-aggressive messages like, "Hey, coming to town for work, would love to have a pretty face across the table at dinner. Would you be that person?" This was to New York state, so the culture is a bit different. Some ladies responded with a GPS dollar amount, and when I countered, I got profanity laden responses about what a cheap asshole I am. Okay, moving on. Some wanted a long term relationship, nope! I did find one young lady. Was willing to meet for dinner and then either my hotel or her place. Best decision I have ever made in the pooning world.

I have since left that job, and won't be traveling to that area any more. She has also relocated to Florida (she is still on my favorites list on SA, so I just looked her up). The sunshine did her good, she looks fantastic. If I go to that part of Florida, definitely going to hit her up before hand.

I also tried the Tinder thing when I was traveling. What a clusterfuck! There was one point where I found someone and we texted back and forth for 4 fucking hours. Then I Venmo'd her $50 to catch an Uber to me and she took the money and blocked me. The $50 meant absolutely nothing to me, but I wish I could have explained to her that if she's willing to spend 4 hours of work to scam someone out of $50, then she should probably just get a job. She even sent me screen shots of her ordering the Uber.

Okay guys, I'd like to ask / discuss please about how you go about meeting women / having sex when you go on a short trip, like a business trip maybe, but it wouldn't have to be that obviously. Maybe it is just a short kind of getaway for a few days, like three or four days maybe, to a new city. Which "hookup" apps do you use / are the best / have you had the most success with if any? Or do you just try at bars and skip the whole apps and tech stuff? Which do you recommend for a straight male over 48 years old who doesn't want to mess around much (if at all really) with profiles and stupid app techie stuff that can be annoying? Yeah, I know, just make it easy and call a hooker and be done with it. But, what I am kind of thinking is for longer than just an hour or two, and not paying "full on hooker rates", so, more like finding a woman to spend like maybe a half day or full day with, and yeah I will / would pay, but would rather find a girl / woman who needs some we will say "financial help" and here is an easy way to make some money and hang out for a few hours getting stoned and watching a movie, eating out and having some drinks maybe, doing fun stuff, while getting some easy spending money, and she's also willing to be or act like a girlfriend for like a half day.

This stuff used to be easy when we had Backpage and Craigslist and could write out ads and get tons of responses and pay fair rates and now it seems much harder to do. Thank you in advance to all serious replies.

I have seen her many times. It always been great until the last time about 3 months ago when I believe she stole out of my wallet when I took a piss. I know better, but had to learn this lesson because I let my guard down with someone I had seen at least ten times before.

I usually don't bring my wallet in, or leave it out of my sight. She talked to me the whole time too. I have no proof but there was evidence of this the next day when certain purchases began to appear and I don't remember itbeing out of my site any other time. In any event, darn! Sorry to hear that. I have time today, and was thinking of seeing her. Also, I can view "short" versions of the reviews by clicking on the right arrow next to each one, and seems like the ones she has had these past 3 months have all been good.
