Any advice on how to deal with a scammer. Blackmailing me, they somehow found out my name and address after messaging them from skip and are threatening to show up at my place as well as contact friends and family.

I've posted about this, fairly recently actually. Bottom line: if you are using ANYTHING tied to you, you are opening yourself wide open for extortion. If you plan to enjoy the risks of this hobby, get a burner phone, don't use your actual cell number. If circumstances don't permit that, use a text app on your phone, don't use your primary email, create a hobby email. On your text app, you can remove the things that make it appear as a text app to deal with picky providers.

Ignore the scammers and lock down your social media or don't and watch them dox you or (more likely) extort you and THEN dox you.

If you are using a regular cell phone they just Google your number or use another search engine and find out everything. Try it out just Google your number.

Block the scammer, ignore them as if nothing has happened, and don't respond to their message. Scammers usually use the "shock" and scare moment to get the most out of their victims into making dumb decisions like sending their bank info or social security. The more you give in to their request, the more they'll keep harassing you. Most scammers will move on to their next victim if you ignore them. However, do save the blackmail messages for evidence in case you really do think you're in danger and use it as evidence if it goes any further. I would advise using a number that is not traceable in the future or being more aware of what you're showing to the public on social media.

Based off the knowledge I have, trying to help her out, it's not fair to call someone a scam, and she warn people off. When she is in fact not a scam. He's claiming fake Photoshop. Yet I am given permission to post things, and she has tried to reach out to him on her personal number. And he is avoiding. I think the least he can do is follow up. It's just ego getting in the way. I've been watching his posts, and yes he gives insight on escorts. But, that shouldn't excuse him from being allowed to shut down someone who is telling the truth. And not even give them a chance. As far as I know, she sees clients who don't even know where to write reviews or about this site. So no one is discrediting MM. I respect his security and trying to have everyone's back bro. But maybe he should give Marie a chance. She's actually a pretty down to earth girl who is doing all of this to pay for her daughters medical bills who almost died last year, and she's already upset over the constant men calling her a scam.

You can't discount someones experience by just by saying "She is legit. " or "you are wrong. " To refute what someone post, I suggest you post your experience and it seems as if you have some intimate knowledge about her. Even then, that does not change the experience MM had with her but if gives everyone more info to make an informed decision. Seems like you are taking MMs opinion personal but what MM is doing is exactly the purpose of this board. Plus, I will take MMs 300+ post over 2 post everyday of the week. Your response seems more of what a handler or scammer would do rather a concerned monger. Just my opinion.
