Here's an interesting and detailed report from a monger who would rather not be identified, but gave me permission to post his experience. It shows how exploring outside the standard downtown hunting ground can sometimes pay off.

After midnight, he happened to stop at the 7-Eleven near the makai side of North Nimitz Highway in the Kalihi Kai area. A few days ago, seeking some iced mocha coffee, I visited the downtown Jack In The Box that's located across Dillingham Boulevard from Jollibee.
