Just because I have nothing to do today I have to write this down. At the car wash I was blocked in by a dork in a nice red pick up truck with Florida license plates because he was shaving his head in his side view mirror! He was oblivious to blocking me and the two cars behind. He was so focused on scraping his bald head with his pink razor. Yes a pink razor!

When I finally beeped at him to get his attention he gave me the dirtiest look like "what the fuck are you beeping at me for"? I couldn't help from laughing out loud and driving off. He pulled over so we can finish his head.

Clearly another case of judge idiocy. It's got nothing to do with location (in the car). If they did it in a park, would the judge make the same ruling against a city or town? If they did it in an apartment, would the judge rule against the landlord or mgmt company? Too bad they didn't do it on the judge's property.

My believe is that judge is getting a piece of the action. There is no way in hell an insurance company should be responsible to be liable. There has to be more to this story. Maybe its a gang bang and everyone is in on it.

I agree with most of your statements. I would never carry to a date knowing my pants are going to be off of me and out of my immediate control. If the situation is that bad that you have to carry, don't go! But, your comment about it not being a concealed carry permit is factually wrong. We can carry either concealed or in the open in the State of CT. It is our choice but I usually carry concealed. Just my 2 cents. Have a great day!

They rather you conceal carry. Open carry can lead to nervous citizens, which often leads to disorderly conduct. I am grey man and will remain that way. If you know what I mean. Stay safe fellow monger. Many more providers to come.

An Asian lawyer fought this in court and won. He was arrested in a movie theater for open carry. The way they get you is by charging you with disturbing the peace when Muffy panics and starts crying when she sees a gun. After that, you have a gun related charge which subjects you to having your permit yanked. Better to keep it concealed, why advertise to the bad guys.

And that is whether you have 1 post or 1500, no know who you are. Whether it's Reddit, Quora this forum or the thousands of others out there, the information posted is coming from an anonymous source. Unless a post is linking to a reliable, entity for information, like BMD just did for CT carry permits, nothing is fact checked and vetted for truth. So Caveat Emptor, or in this case, Reader Beware.

You don't need to justify your post. Next thing you know it escalates or you or others don't post due to feeling intimidated or something else. I recall getting started and reading responses to my posts about "huge grains of salt. " I've made some of those same mistakes with new guys, but Admin made a great point about this arguing crap, so I don't do that and I thank you. Yes, I understand the reality of concealed vs open carry. Open carry creates other issues but it's LEGALLY called a carry permit. We choose to conceal for practicality.

Carrying requires a more serious attitude, action and awareness of everything you do. The standards are higher for carriers. Carry less or don't carry at all. Training is the key. Not just in carrying but also mental adjustments and knowledge.
