Your point about international mongering is a very good one and I had considered mentioning that in my post, but decided, despite it's advantages, that option is beyond the scope of this forum or my post. However, since you brought it up, I do have a few thoughts on that option as well (I've actually mongered in 15 of the 45 countries I've visited so far, including DR, CR & Col, but not St. Maarten).

OTOH, if you go for 3 sessions per day, you CPF could drop to $133 (i.e. not really as cheap as $100 but still much better than anything you could find in the US)

Of course, I've chosen cost estimates in my example that simplify calculations (and also ignored the non-mongering aspects of travel). Also, if you really know what you're doing, you can get better rates than that, but you can see the basic concept I'm trying to explain.

And this is where the one shortcoming of international mongering comes into play. Most of us don't normally need to get our rocks off 3 times a day, nor is it something we normally even try to do here at home on a daily basis.
