thank you, thank you, thank you, pitching a tent. i was hoping someone would call me on my rather stretched definition of pedophile. i looked in a standard dictionary for the definition, which is about as unscientific as you can get, short of making up a definition from your imagination. your reference and correction exceeded my expectations. if you hadn't done it, i was dreading having to research it myself, and i don't have the manuals.

you're not too far off, but i've felt this way since about age 18. i noticed that it was awkward to go to my alma mater high school sporting events less than a year after graduating/turning 18. i didn't feel comfortable looking at the cheerleaders "that way" anymore, even though many of them were the same exact persons that it was supposedly ok for me to look at less than a year ago.

it has to do with how the men in my family (dad, uncles, older cousins) had a concept of macho where "real men" aren't titillated by hot young stuff. if you see a girl and you can't tell if she's a hot 20 y.o. or a hot 16-lookin'-like-20 y.o., then you look at her like you can tell she's hot, but too young to even really enjoy looking at, and she's going to be awesome when she gets older. very old fashioned macho, like the outlaw josie wales and carry grant, where the idea of lusting after borderline, mid teen, late adolescent/early adulthood girls was a concept that's completely foreign and puzzling, and actually kind of disturbing.

i say bobby brown is guilty as charged. he can't blame the club because they let in someone ****. we are all responsible for our own actions. if you're man enough to bone her, than be prepared to be man enough to accept any and all responsibility and consequences: std, pregnancy, arrest, jealous boyfriend/husband, angry pimp, blackmail, getting robbed/set up, false rape accusation, being recorded, angry parents, etc, etc, etc.

its a few years off, but lets say that one of my daughters runs away and starts "working" while she's still ****. i'll make my own decisions based on my own values and standards on the justice i will mete out myself. if i find that some of her johns made reasonable attempts to know her age but she fooled them, i'll have to let that slide. if some of them don't make any effort to check, i think i'd at least be pressing charges. and lord, forgive me now for what i'd do to any man that knows her true age and messes with her anyways. the slowly boiling frog story gives me some ideas...if you boiled long enough, you'd having nothing but bones and sludge to dispose of.

i've got lots of cousins, uncles and brothers and friends that all feel the same way i do. something to keep in mind while you're out there cruising the loopty-loop.

if you truly know this to be a true statment about yourself, that's all that counts. you can't go by what "most people" believe, or what "hollywood" portrays, or what's popular with the crowd. i'm not lying when i said that hollywood and paris have made a hero out of roman polanski, and more and more americans are jumping on that bandwagon. this is not a good bandwagon to jump onto.

in the end, i think my being tough on this issue is more of a reflection of me being tough on myself. i may have more of a natural propensity to sink into that perversion unless i brainwash myself into some strict, conservative, old-fashioned concepts and guidelines. maybe that makes me the "sicker" one for not being able to just be free to occasionally enjoy lovely women in their natural god-given state, without my self-imposed hang-ups about what is and isn't appropriate.

if its true that this makes me out to be the "sicker" one, i have no problem with that. i'd rather err on the side of caution. again, its a small price to pay in an imperfect world.

very good post but how often have you seen women in there fifties in strip clubs even if there still slim and put together well on the other hand you can usually spot many men in there fifties and there not all rich, the same goes for SW'ers and most single bars, i do think a woman ages faster than man (well sexually anyway) and now we mid life men have got vitamin V.

Reading your responce and the responces of others have also reaffirmed my belief that I am just a normal person. I was out and about these past few days and I learned that my sexual desires ranged from wanting to bang women that were "around 18" to women well within there 40's. So, that is nothing out of the ordinary. I am not on the verge of going out and banging a 16 year old girl, nor do I care to. But, if 15-17 girls throw their body in my face I will look and I may lust for a minute or two but that does not make me on the verge of having a so called problem. There - ISSUE IS NOW DEAD!

Hey D - this site is about SEX and how to get it. Not sex with your wife or girlfriend. I got something much more powerful than nATURE. Its my desire to see every child have a chance at innocence before us dregs get a shot at her.
