I think it should be morally but I'm curious if there's some agreement I'm violating by giving fake name information. Especially once you mention government databases. False identity and all that. I understand the practical nonexistent chance anybody pursues this but still would like to know.

I am not a lawyer, don't even play one on TV. I am just some dude on the internet, so I technically don't know. I dug into the laws surrounding reporting, and couldn't find anything illegal about using a fake name when getting laboratory services, as long as you are not trying to get them for free. There are whole sections in the Florida Statutes about confidentiality, but if you read the fine lines, the labs must report positive results for all of the major STD's, including names. Doesn't say anything about corraborating identity. When you sign up for testing, you are actually signing up for a doctor, who orders the test. I looked up the Florida I'd statutes, and there are all kinds of situations listed, but nothing about I'd with a doctor where there is no attempt to obtain services fraudulently (like having insurance when you don't).

They apparently removed the requirement for the heath department knocking on your door, so no worry about that. But if you give your real name and test positive for anything, Hillsborough County will have your name and status. So I think the buck stops there, nobody is going to track down Dick Hertz or RedWall should you test positive.

Regardless, I know for a fact there are no issues with using a fake name and the protocol I described previously. I don't wear a tin foil hat, but when it comes to keeping my sexual proclivities in private, I do what I can to keep my adult fun out of the public scrutiny. Adult fun between consenting adults should be legal.

I wanted to clarify something. All STD testing places (including Hillsborough County) say they offer Confidential testing which is NOT the same as Anonymous. Confidential only means the public won't see the results of your test. They can and will contact your sexual partners, at least attempt to, if you test positive for the worst of the STDs. And your name will forever be on a government database. Anonymous means nobody will know your status.

Think about it. I don't want anyone from the Health Department showing up at my door. Do you?

I walked into a Labcorp and ask for an STD test. They told me that I needed a doctor's prescription for that. So I went someplace else. Bill Ho.

Walking in anywhere isn't going to be anonymous, which is the whole point of this discussion. Most public health departments will do it for nominal cost, free if you are below an income threshold. When I lived in San Diego, I used the health dept. They required I'd. I never tested positive.

There are laws that require tracing if you test positive for HIV, and a database with your name on it for anything you test positive for.

There are technically no legal anonymous STD testing services. The workaround I posted is a way to stay anonymous, as nobody checks ID.

For the full panel test you need to give them a blood sample and urine sample.

It's a simple urine test and costs less than $55 just to test for those 2 STDs. You pay online, they send the order to your nearest testing facility, you go in anytime you want, pee in a cup and that's it. You get your results back within 48 hours.

You have to wait at least 2 weeks after exposure though, otherwise, the test could give you a false negative if you go too soon.

Obviously, if you have Chlam or Gono in your throat a urine test is useless. You'd have to go to a doctor and have them swab your throat. That's why so many guys get an STD from a BBBJ. The girl might get a urine test, but doctors will rarely swab the throat unless you ask them to. So a urine test might say she's clean even though it's in her throat.

Luckily I tested clean, but it would be funny for the county health workers showing up at a restaurant and asking for Dick Hertz. When you get your results, the header page has a summary (attached) or you can print out the complete labs if you have a nubile young SB you want to bang raw.

Prior to Covid I would get tested every 3-6 months, but I hadn't been tested since early 2020, so I went in for testing last week. As usual, results came back clear negative for all tests, I am not carrying anything to spread around.

Just an FYI that the Herpes 1 is likely 50/50 to come up positive. Be prepared for that shock (LOL) or skip that one. It's not in standard STI panels anymore because it's so prevalent. That's the oral kind. Chances are you have it. If you never have any cold sores you are fine. The testing your SB gets at PP or their GP don't test for it anymore.

Would Shingles trip it since they are both related?

Had that yrs ago, and what a pain it was. Never came back since then.

This time, I added their trichomoniasis test, which is $99 more. I had never been tested for it before. (It usually doesn't bother men, but women get all kinds of effects from it, like a really stinky puss) Of course, I tested negative for it.

The process is really simple, you pay for the test online, select what lab you want to use (you can choose any Labcore or Quest location in Tampa area). You download and print the workorder and go to the lab. They make you piss in a cup, and extract 3 vials of blood. You have the results online in 2 days. I was in and out in 15 minutes, no questions asked.

Here is the tip: When you go for the test, nobody checks your I'd. When you sign up online for the test, they require you to put your full name and address in, to comply with federal regs. But they don't check on this at the lab. I always use a fake name and address, and the phone number I give them is my burner phone. (Theoretically, if you came back positive for an STD, you might have a caseworker knocking at your door) The only real way for anyone to get in touch with me is via my burner phone and my burner email address.

When I got gonorrhea a 3-4 years ago from that BBBJ, I only did the piss test, which was like $50, came back positive. They advised me they could refer me to get discreet treatment, but I just procured some drugs on my own, treated myself, cleared up in a week, retested, came back negative. (I still have some of that "medication" just in case it happens again, and now it is much harder to procure that stuff on your own.
