Posts: 1261That sounds like blackmail / extortion plain and simple. Not too long ago there was a young guy being extorted for trying to see a hooker in Raleigh Durham and he finally went to the cops. Guess who is in jail? It's the scammers. Have your friend document names, texts, phone numbers. And then firmly let them know to back the fuck off or he'll go to the cops. Unless the girl was a minor and he fucked her, Johnny Law will care a lot more about locking up multiple extortion artists than one John.
If he has a wife then it's time to figure out what they actually know about him and act accordingly. If he used a burner then he's probably fine even if he gave out his name or they wrote down his plate number. If they know too much then he has to choose to pay or come clean. Which will be cheaper depends on if his wife is the leaving type.

They have way more to lose than your "friend" does.

Posts: 276I have experience with this, listen up please.
This has both been attempted on me and a friend I know, please listen to my advise. You cannot win paying them off.
1. Have a carefree, firm, "I do not care" attitude, do not show you are afraid, act like someone who just plain does not give a fuck.
2. Firmly and I mean firmly educate them that in NC, extortion and blackmail are both felonies and carry a five year prison sentence.
3. Let me them know you have already been in contact with a detective and if they say one more word, you will turn over all information to them. (they will take your case, I helped a buddy bust two girls and their "pimp-like drug dealing boyfriend" who was trying to threaten and extort him. They arrested them all.
4. Cops have dicks too and have cheated on their wives, they get it more than you realize. Sugar dating is not prostitution, they cannot prosecute you for it, unless you literally stated a very specific sex act for a very specific dollar amount. Paying for companionship, even if sex happens, is not a crime. They know this. They could almost never prove prostitution occurred during a sugar dating context. So do not live in fear of this, if these clowns are trying to extort you? FIGHT THEM MOTHER FUCKERS WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT! Showing fear feeds them to go after you and you have nothing to lose. If they already made out who you are? You have nothing to gain giving into them. Fight them, and be firm.
5. Being a man and seeking sex from younger women, who are offering it up is not a crime. A lot of these girls think if you get with them, because you are older, they can fuck with you. Not so. They are adults and chose to open their legs for whatever reason. Do not lose sight of this, just because she was younger. You did nothing wrong.
Now if she was underage and you did not do your due diligence to make sure of that? Well then you might be up a creek. Other than that? Do not give these people an inch, it will only get worse.

Posts: 259This is why you absolutely never use your real name, play at your place and give out any factual personal information to anyone you play with in this hobby unless you have zero to lose. No matter how safe it seems, shit changes with these girls.

The first thing I'd do is change my phone number (assuming that's the main issue). If there is an SO involved, then fake a billing fit with current phone company and swap to another without porting number. If he has family and they know where he lives or people in his life, he's pretty much screwed. But if he pays now he'll never stop paying and they'll still try to ruin his life. In any case, legal trouble is the least likely outcome. In fact he could get them arrested for extortion. But that will be public.

Posts: 507You'll get many versions of things to do if you put it out here. Why would escort or SB go to authorities? I could see SO or family but LE? That should be fairly easy to handle. We can only speculate until you put out the details.

I have a friend who is getting shaken down by someone through this hobby. Claiming to be going to authorities but now offering to settle for money. He's so nervous he didn't even want to ask for advice here so I told him I would.
Would anyone please PM me and let me explain and get advice?
