Hard for me to say since I never used the pump before getting the P shot. The shot itself wasn't bad. I was numbed and didn't feel anything. I'll have to update you later since I just had this done a few days ago. The shockwave so far seems like a bunch of BS, but the shot and pump increased my girth 3 X at least. The Doc recommended I pump twice a day at 10 mmhg, but honestly that's kind of painful, 7 mmhg is cool and I don't feel like my dick is going to split open like an over cooked hotdog (10 mmhg I really felt like I was doing damage). I prefer to use the pump standing vs. Sitting. Sitting and pumping caused me more discomfort. Too early to determine if it fixes ED, but the size jump alone was worth it. I gave it a test run already and liked the results (she liked it too). I took meds for the test run, because I was curious to see if I had broken my penis, but it was all good just 3 x bigger. Like I said, I've never used a pump before so I'm not sure how much was the shot +pump VS. Pump alone.

The reason for the Gainswave is the cash flow for them. I've tried both and both did not work and it wasn't pleasant experience. It was a pricy experience for me with little results. Some say it does well for them but for me not so much. After the PRP then they'll say, oh you may need more than one. We have others that do it every 6 months. Not for me. Thanks for replying. Ill shoot you a pm. I know prp does not work for hair loss. Seems like these using it for everything under the sun. They even claim many men have gained girth?. I used to hang weights jelq. Plus do girth exercises using a cable clamp. Any results I got. Reversed when I stopped all the. Exercises.

I want to thank everyone that's participating in this discussion. I'm watching a lot of YouTube videos but I'm just a little confused because they say the PRP shot doesn't really work a hundred percent if you don't do the Shockwave therapy?. (kind of like planting a seed without digging a hole)).

And I don't understand why they recommend 5 Shockwave Therapies? I mean if you live in the same state that's fine. But what if you live in a different state? How the hell are you going to travel to a different state 5 different times to do the Shockwave therapy?? (that gets expensive)). Also there is no discussion of this stem cell shot? I'm going to make some phone calls and make a detailed review on whether or not I'm going to try this out.

But I think you could pump twice a day without PRP and see temporary gains in length and girth. So if you seem larger after PRP and pumping, how do you know the PRP did anything?

I haven't heard any glowing reviews of PRP yet. I've only seen promises of good results but I'd like to read about actual results.

Oh, the therapy also prescribes that you use a pump 2 x day for 10 minutes each. The idea is that it helps with the formation of new and health of existing blood vessels. I missed almost 2 weeks of doing this. I've picked back up the past several days. Not sure how much this helps (or how much missing hurts you).

The thought alone of a needle going into my junk makes me cringe. But, having some issues in the past and seeking treatment, this has come up time and time again. I posted in another thread about pulse wave therapy and it's effectiveness. Now I'm writing as I just tried the P-shot.

The P shot uses platelet rich plasma from a blood draw (from you) and then it's injecteed into your penis. It's used widely in sports therapy for healing. It's effectiveness for erections and blood flow is still being evaluated but many reviews have been posted and it's got a lot of press over the last couple years. Still, though, a shot in your dick sounds horrible. And, I can tell you that it isn't a lot of fun. But being at an age where I am still wanting to be very sexually active, I'm trying several things to help achieve normal, drug free erections.

So, the procedure goes like this. They draw blood from your arm and spin it in a centrifuge. Then, fill a couple syringes with the platelet rich plasma and prepare to inject it back into your penis. First, they have you apply a lidocaine cream. Wait 10 minutes. Re-apply. Wait 10 minutes and then they do a couple of lidocaine injections to numb you up fully. The one toward the head made me just about pass out. But I have done that when they take my blood so for most of you it may not be a problem. After a few minutes of waiting they then inject the PRP into 6 locations in your penis. Then, you're done and you can head home.

I had this done today so I can tell you that it does have some minor pain to it. Even now, still numb, I do feel pain from the injections. But, it isn't bad enough to keep me from my normal activity. But, I'm not sure I'd want to get a hard on right now. Nor would I want a HJ. I read that it takes about 3 weeks for the effects although some see it in a few days. I'll wait and see what my results are. I know this may sound extreme to some of you but be happy if you don't need any meds or haven't experienced issues. It's not only frustrating and embarrassing, it causes a LOT of stress. Hoping this helps me get back to normal. I'm in decent shape (33 in waist, so not obese) and don't have any issues like heart issues or diabetes. I share that b / c you may be in the same boat and wonder if its just you or not. I know I've wondered the same.

BTW: Meds do work for me. Cialis from overseas is easy to get and It does the job I just want a more natural fix.

Thinking about doing this for the same reasons you talk about. Almost 3 weeks out can you give us an update? I'm not giving up on natural things but need to push this along I think. Thanks HC55.

I can't give you an answer because it's unclear. They say it takes about 3 weeks to notice any changes and I'm < 1 week out. But for how long will the results (if any) last? I've ready that it's like anything else that's degenerative. It may last a year or it may last years depending on your body. Also lifestyle changes will help from what I read as well such as working out, having less plaque buildup in your arteries, etc. So, I'll post back as I know more about that but from what I have read I can't tell. The clinic I go to seems to indicate that after the series of 4 I wouldn't need any more.

PRP (platelet rich plasma) or P-shot is done by taking your own blood and spinning it down in a centrifuge to just plasma. Then injecting your own plasma into your dick. Please let us know if you get positive results and is it worth the money.

I have also read about PRP where you receive the plasma from a younger person. Supposedly to get more potent younger plasma. This has been called vampire plasma. I don't think I want somebody else's plasma. The P-shots for your dick only use your plasma not somebody else's.
