Just finished a session with this beautiful therapist and that's it, the massage was less than average. I paid. 60 for the hour but I was in and out in 30 minutes. When she was massaging the back of my thighs she would pause and massage, then pause and massage again, with the grazing of the sack, it really felt like she was texting in one hand massaging with the other. As I turned over to lay on my back, HE was offered and up sells as well. I just settled for the standard with roaming over her clothing only. The pictures on the ad is her, IMHO I would not repeat due to the shorten time and lazy massage.

Service: One of the best massages I've had. She really worked out the kinks from my body. She also cracked my back and neck which no one else has done before. I requested two HJs which she granted. One in the beginning of the massage and one at the end. Kind of jack hammerish but that's ok for me. I wasn't doing anything with my hands, so she grabbed it and placed it on her butt. I didn't roam beyond that since it was my first time. But, she was super friendly and professional.

Tuesday night TOFTT here out of curiosity. Walked in about midnight and was greeted by a tall, cute, slender Chinese MT who said her name was Christina. She showed me to the private room with 2 massage tables inside. I opted for a usual 1 hour massage. She said she's 27 and she looks it. She's been in the US 8 years and has been doing massage work for awhile in California up and down the coast. Speaks good English, conversing with her is no problem. Massage was OK but no comparison to my favorite MT Cloudia from Siam Thai who left Honolulu a few weeks ago. Tina wore super tight pants that gave me the impression that it's not coming off. It didn't but I could touch outside. She charged me extra tip to pull up her top and bra which revealed a very nice pair of perky nipped chichis and allowed me to suckle like a hungry (oh easy honey not too hard) child. She refused to take off the shirt and bra for some reason. I asked for BJ & FS. No dice. Finished me off with HJ. No repeat for me. I believe that Magic use to be known as Jewel. Just because they change their name does not automatically improve their service. As far as Magic is concerned, she does do prostate massage (HJ) in case anyone was wondering. FS is not on the menu as far as I know. Maybe things have recently changed for the better.

As a person who travels from time to time, yes I do agree that some of these providers coming in from Vegas, Cali, and some other areas are bringing their "menu style" way of doing business. It is not uncommon for the mainland MTs is certain areas to ask for extra $ so that you can even touch them. If you want UTC roaming, it can sometimes rival our local prices for FS.

But in some other cities, their prices and way of doing business is similar to Hawaii, so basically it comes down to the luck of the draw regarding untested MTs from other states. Best thing we can do here locally is to post up these MTs who try these up selling tactics here so that they either have to change their ways, or not get any customers.

Personally, I have made it a point to just get my HE with no fringes at our usual MSRP and call it a day. HT.

It is amazing and mostly a good thing that there have been many visiting Thai providers over the past few years coming to work with friends at Thai Massage Spas that are advertising in local LA Thai Community. Thought I would put this out as a public service announcement of sorts. It appears that very few of these visiting providers understand the commonly understood pricing customs for tipping? As a result, the visiting providers end up having discussions with customers at unappreciated moments in the massage experience that results in an uncomfortable and inappropriate moment that has recently been coined as "up-selling".

When I travel, I do extensive research on what the "Price of Tea is in China" before I travel, so I can avoid uncomfortable and inappropriate situations. I also try to figure out some basic language to say please and thank you and find out if a tip is appropriate and what the tip should be. Sometimes, depending on service or the product, the tip can be more, yet there is a basic structure. Having been at this for various years now here in Honolulu, we have some fairly set structures for the price of an hour massage and tipping on service. Perhaps I am wrong because almost every time I try a visiting Thai Provider, it appears they are not aware of the local customs for tipping? By the provider not knowing, it negates the pleasure in the overall experience. Most of us partake in massage to relax and enjoy the experience to rejuvenate and get away from reality for an hour. IMHO, by not knowing our customs and all the recent "up-selling" takes away from the enjoyment and it turns out to make me feel like the experience was a waste of time and money.

This is just a further reinforcement for local massage customers. We need to stick together and educate these visiting providers of what our customs are regarding tipping for massage and try to abolish the "up-selling" and get back to enjoying a good massage, providing the appropriate tip and extending "aloha" to these visitors.
