I'm acquainted with photo rights.

Over my career, I've had a couple of my remodeling projects & photos sold to magazines for publication. Any original photos taken by myself to accompany the writing despite being paid for them are one time use only. I still own the rights. No, if & or buts...

A semi-recent example.

During Covid 2020 lockdowns was contacted by magazine who I'd previously sold an article. They asked if they could reuse a couple for an upcoming article on creative uses of reusing old growth douglas fir window frames. I agreed & they offered to extend my current subscription two years or 50.00 check. My choice & I went with the extension as magazine is close to 40.00 per year.

While the USSG is a different beast compared to a monthly publication. And as freewheeling as it is, I consider it a form of social media & falls under the Berne convention protections.

You absolutely do own any photo you create. No action needed, by posting said photo you own all the rights & privileges.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

This effect is similar to when schools inact testing requirements to reduce demand. Typically demand actually increases because consumers now see a test requirement and assume that the school must be good because they have a test requirement.

Rates go up and down with so much stuff. Supply demand, inflation, recessions and the economy, and even what time of the month (you'll see big discounts almost across the board often the last week of the month due to rent being due).

I agree with what you've stated, but I want to add a few possibilities.

1. The market will find an equilibrium where demand == supply.

A. There is comparably less competition in the good body / looks category in pdx than other markets. This means more demand chasing less supply, so higher prices. This is likely what's driving the younger hotties' price point.

B. Consider the shift in dating. There are likely far more young adults in this hobby than historically. Young adults have fewer fixed expenses, so I assume they are less price sensitive. They may not make as much as middle aged men, but they are happy to blow a week's pay on an hour with a hooker because their fixed expenses are low and there is no spouse getting curious about the "misc expense" budget line.

Additionally, consider the youth demographic is more likely to have speculated in crypto or meme stocks so may have a decent amount of free money to burn and haven't yet realized it would be better to invest it.

2. Pricing information is asymmetric.

I call this the "ebay problem. " Once in awhile I'll get a call from my mom telling me that some old vhs is selling for tens of thousands on ebay and she heard about it on the news, and she has the vhs so meeds my help selling it. I check ebay listings. Sure enough, I see a few listings of it for 5-20 k. Then I filter by "sold" and see that, while folks may be asking for $10 k, the recorded completed sales are more like $4. 99.

I use this story to point out that we only see asking price. Who knows hoe many women are willing to accept lower. They say they don't, and they probably don't 80% of the time, but then rent becomes due and there is an urgency to make money, so they lower their price for some lucky dudes.

Now consider that only the asking and not negotiated price is public. Of your competition is asking for 150% of your rate for months on end, you'll probably conclude that the market is supporting it and up your price. While I believe that there is likely collusion behind the scenes, it's not hard to see how rates increase based solely off the public prices that providers see their competition posts.

3. Alternative income streams.

Never has it been easier for women to make money for doing almost nothing. OnlyFans has dramatically increased earnings potential for providers by giving them a global audience. There are a lot of lonely men in the world that happily pay $5-$100's / month for a fake, digital connection because it is the only connection with another human they can foster. Not only does this reduce supply by entirely removing otherwise would-be-providers from the pool of business partners, but it also reduces the supply of full time hookers. Why drop your price to $200/ hour whem you can spend that hour making six, ten minute videos that you see for $20? You only get $180 dor that hour instead of $200, but you've significantly decreased risk, and risk premiums are not neglible.

4. Exploding penis syndrome (EPS).

This describes what you've already: hormones are flowing so freely that your penis is on the verge of losing its load. You also described the cure: masturbation. But there still does exist some nonzwro pool of men experiencing yhis exact crysis daily, and the unfortunate side effect is that this condition impairs judgement, and reduces price elasticity. It's similar to someone chasing a high.

What I'm ranting a bit about is the observational insanity on what some of these women are asking for and why other hobbyists are enabling it.

On that other forum, there are girls touring in PDX, and an hour of their time is around 4. Then I just saw a very plus-sized woman post an ad where her rates went from 3/ h to 7/ h. And while I am sure time with her can be pretty fun, I wonder about the guy who will drop 7 bills there. So you can get a very big woman for 7 or enjoy a hardbody for 4? I get that everyone has a type. And yet.

As mentioned previously in this thread, so many younger providers are showing up asking 5/ h with a list of "no" that is mind-boggling. I realize that some gents have a fetish sleeping with women who are disgusted by them. But for the rest of us, it really seems that we should all put some sort of reminder to go jack off before booking one of these girls. After you clean your pipes, then do a check with the big head and see if you really want to spend 5 bills on something you would best review as "accommodating. ".

I do want providers to do well. I firmly support prosperity for us all, and I know the erosion of the middle class is hurting everyone. Providers and clients alike.

It seems that many of the other boards are paid for by providers (ads) and many are run by providers or ex-providers. I've heard stories of some providers getting convinced / bullied into raising rates on those boards too. I really have no idea how true that is or if they just copy what is there and then add their own premium perceived value.

Also, I should also admit there are great values out there. Highly reviewed providers who offer a very fair rate and make the experience completely worth every penny. This rant is more about the majority of all that mediocre talent that someone must be paying for to keep them around.

I feel this. And it's getting worse. Previous girls that allowed GFE are becoming full safety. Girls are charging 5-6 an hour, have a NO list that includes nearly everything, and getting them text back is harder than herding cats.


I recently asked one girl about her duo. She said full safety. No going back and forth either. But they were both hot, so I asked could they eat each other out while I'm with them.
