I drove by AMP/AAA Saturday night around 11:30 and saw a blonde in white pants and pink shirt, I gave her the signal and she got into my car.

I was out last night, which would have been friday at about 12:30am to 2:00am. I checked out the area by Denny park and the Hurricane and found what I usually found there, nothing. Then I went up Aurora to see what was going on with 99. To my suprise I saw six SW on the east side of 99 between Thomas St. and Republican St. Four of them were BSW's who were on the corner of Thomas and Aurora. They were being loud and very flagrant. I wanted nothing to do with them, they looked like trouble. but one block north of that on harrison there was 2 WSW's. One was a brunette that looked pretty old and hagard. She offered 40 for BJ but I kept driving. The other one however was a cute blonde with pigtails. She was a little heavy but looked pretty young. Like about 18-22. I tried four times to pull up next to her to get her in the car but she wouldn't acknowledge me at all until I opened my window and asked if she was working. I know it was in my best interest to not be so open but she was cute. But I just got a weird vibe from her. She didn't say a word for about two minutes and then I got kind of suspicious and said I forgot to hit the ATM and I'd be back. When she got out she did kind of a circular motion with her hand and a car nearby flicked their headlights, this was on Denny right behind were I picked her up. I had a bad vibe so I just thought I'd better go. There was a huge LE presence. Could have been coincidence but I've always been told to trust my gut. But if anybody knows her and has a number I definantly would love to get the digits. She looked very cute, probably a 7 or 8 for Seattle.

There seems to be an increasing number of these cross-jurisdictional LE agreements these days, and I've given up trying to delineate all of them in the city entries on my home page. I now just put a disclaimer under the legend at the top saying that "Some neighboring cities have agreements that allow each other's cops to cross jurisdictional lines to pursue criminals or even regularly patrol".

Thanks to The John for responding to my request for tips from car date experts (I don't claim to be one). civ/tang - I doubt being in an AMP is sufficient. I was in one a local city about 4 years ago and the lady I was with started freaking out "the police, the police". She scurried off and left me in the room. So I wraped a towel about my sorry *ss and sat it out.

About 10 minutes later (a very Loooonnnngggg 10 minutes) the door opens and in walks a guy announcing "xxx Police" (xxx was the city name, I dont want to say it). He flashes a badge at me and asks if any of the girls have offered me sex. I said, "heck no, I just want a massage and I'm getting tired of waiting for it". He said, "Sorry for your troubles" and left, closing the door behind him.

About 10 more minutes pass, the lady comes back and we complete the transaction. She gave me all the extras and then some.

Just got off the phone with a SW that I am friends with. We were talking about pricing.

She says lots of girls are flexible on price but once they get in the car thats when they set there price. A clean cut nice smelling monger is going to get offered a cheaper BJ or FS than a foul smelling unclean and unkempt looking monger.

Just as you pick up a foul looking or smelling SW your going to offer her little or nothing.

I know that sometimes you put in a hard days work and a SW would help relax you before you head home. But think about it. If you were a SW would you want to blow some grungy looking tired and smelly ass dude?

Went cruising with a friend extensively on the Denny H-Cane stroll between 9-11:30p last night.

Didn't see anything in the Denny area, so we headed up to Aurora. Saw about 3-4 between 85th and 145th. Two were just OK looking, I'd say the low end of medium track. Saw a decent BSW on the opposite side, around 125th.

Headed back to Denny. Saw goth chick at her usual post around 11p, then head to the area just north of Denny Park. Saw a so-so looking blond on 5th ave N (I think that was the street); just a block north of her I saw a hot, young looking WSW. My friend decided he wanted to pick her up, but we didn't have any money (originally we were just crusing; he never told me he actually wanted to pick someone up). We ran to an ATM went back about 10 min later, but everyone was gone. I felt like such a tool; that young WSW looked really hot! She couldn't have been more than 20, and maybe as young as 16 or 17. I'd love to hook up with her sometime, and I'll keep looking.

I also left a message for Shannon yesterday (thanks JQ), but she hasn't gotten back with me. Will let you guys know how it goes. Has anyone else seen the young WSW near Denny? She could be the one someone saw near Bank of A a couple nights ago. I'm not sure if she's under 18, but she well could be.

Bottousai, you're right about goth chick. I tried to pick her up once, and she started walking away from me, yelling "get away, you fucking pervert!". When her mood it right, though, she can be lots of fun.

Colnago, I believe (not 100%) that just like Burien cops can legally respond to calls in White Center because they're contracted out by the King County Police -- I believe Shoreline has a similiar thing going on. You rarely see them south of 145th but I think they could if they wanted or needed to.

I'm curious where all this paranoia is coming from. Last week we were told not to pick up SW's because we were being videotaped by LE and/or John Q. Public and it was just a matter of time before the cops showed up on our door to ruin our lives. This week they are arresting people for merely walking through the door to AMP's. Poor UPS driver will probably lose his job.

It was interesting in Tang's article that a city employee that got busted wasn't going to lose his job unless it could be proved he mongered on the clock. I'd be curious just how many guys here would have their lives ruined and lose their jobs just because of a simple prostitution bust. No first-time offenders in Seattle would because of the $500 waiver. I don't think any of us union guys would walk the unemployment line just because we got caught with a hooker.

Titman, I remember when that escort service was busted. There was a lot of publicity about all the high rollers, Seattle sports stars, business people were all going to get busted and six months later not a single name released.

UnCirc has said it many times: Panic is never a safe response to law enforcement. There's a good example close to home. Recall the escort service in Bellevue that was "busted" about six months ago? The madame's ex-husband wanted a cut of the money, she wouldn't give it, so he took a batch of records to the police, and they claimed they were going to bust everybody and his uncle?

I haven't heard any more about it. My guess is that she'll plead guilty to a tax or licensing violation, the ex-husband will plead guilty to being an asshole, and it will quietly go away.

On a related note, I've heard that several government agencies that use polygraphs for security testing are throwing in a new question: "Have you ever paid for sex?" If asked, I intend to truthfully answer "Yes", since that prompts a follow-up questioning after the polygraph. I intend to point out that I am divorced, so I have indeed paid for sex.

Tang, I read the article again. There was no mention of issuing warrants based on merely entering the facility. There was a year-long investigation and obviously they weren't going to alert everyone by issuing warrants one at a time. A period of one year and they only noticed 70 people leaving the AMP? I don't think so.

They probably seized some records and perhaps even had a plant inside the AMP. I'll say it again -- no one was issued a warrant based on a camera seeing them entering the premises. I didn't read that in the article and neither did you -- you jumped to that conclusion on your own.

I don't see it as police changing tactics. They bust AMP's all the time around here and recently busted an escort service. They observe (possibly with camera's), send someone in, seize computer records, etc. Civ2000

I remember when the MP in Burien was shut down (this latest time) a few months ago, LE was all over the news claiming that anyone who has ever visited there should be very worried.

Now months later, I've never heard about any additional arrests, warrants or anything. They have only succeeded in keeping the MP shut down (for now).

I post on the east coast and heading to seattle next spring.

That tactic is not uncommon out east. Its a method of shaming people into convictions. They did the same in Virginia last year and threatened to do the same for an infamous brothel in Connecticut.

By threatening the general public wth shock value, the idea is that john will come scurrying out of their holes. It worked, and caused the fall of city council folks involved in the scheme in Virginia. The madame kept detailed files on who her customers in an effort to keep them quiet. A blackbook to for blackmailing anyone who threatened to go public. It backfired on her and got her and several hundred johns published in the paper.

The case in Connecticut was threatening to do similar. They had a "supposed" list of 3000 names on a computer. They (the feds)also had license plates and...according to sources...inside agents who may have done sessions with gents. (Not sure if that was true).

The pigs threatened to release the list and go after each and every john for that misdemeanor. That list would have been a who's who of Connecticut, Massachussetts, and Rhode Island. Judges, police, politicians, ceos, etc...

The list quietly disappeared and the press has kept very quiet about it. The quiet is almost defeaning. Heck, there wasn't even a police blotter about it for almost 4 months after the big shut down.

The madame got the book thrown at her regarding IRS. The feds are busy chasing the money laundering that sometimes accompany brothels. The locals could do nothing but threaten. That was enough and led to a few fellows turning themselves in to the local PD.
