I just took a moment to look up Alcatraz in Toledo and it gave me a location in Erie Michigan. Zoomed in and it was across the street from the school. Is this the right location? If so how did they get away with being next to a school?

Yes that is the correct location.

It is only a short drive from Toledo. Maybe ten minutes. That is why we talk about in the Toledo section. The place has been there for many years.

I remember going there back in 95-96. Still got a picture of Pandora Peaks siting on my lap for my birthday at Alcatraz.

There is two or three schools in the area. They are actually around the corner on another street. Not directly across from the schools.

It's not across from a school. Only open in evenings.
