I hope you bought a "OneVanila" card that looks like the ones pictured as there are a tonne of Vanilla cards that may or may not work.

There was a card that specifically said "securespend" so I assume it will work.

My advice is to go login to the site and check the balance on the card, then 24-hrs later you should be able to use it on SA.

Yeah the CVS / Rite Aid / Walgreens all near me only had the vanilla ones, not the securespend one. However, I hit up a dollar store and they had one, so I bought that.

Unfortunately haven't pulled the trigger on membership still, because now it looks like all the potentials I was interested in have all not signed in for a few days. Not sure what's going on but it seems like all the good ones randomly stopped logging into the site?

I went to 4 pharmacies, two Walgreens, one CVS and one RiteAid and found the above mentioned cards in everyone of them! see attached pics

I'll admit, if you don't know what you are looking for they are hard to find in the jumble of gift cards, prepaid cards and phone cards. I knew what I was looking for and they sure didn't jump out at me. So take a look at the closeup shots of these cards so you know what you are looking for.

I will note that WG and CVS have the "old" OneVanilla card (not to be confused with the standard "Vanilla" gift cards), while the RA had the SecureSpend card, one in the same.

Not every card was in the main display, sometimes there were satellite displays, but every store had one of the cards or another!

OK so my idea did not work, that rebate card didn't work even though it tracks billing address and everything. Oh well.

Also went to all the walgreens / rite aid / cvs in the area and didn't see any securespend cards sold on location there. So I'm out of ideas for now.

Kind of interested in what you came up with as a "solution?" This usually isn't so hard if one follows the rules.

First step is a burner phone, app number and burner Identity. Then you pay for SA with a prepaid CC that can be used with an overseas PMT processor. In the past the card to use was "OneVanila" (often confused with the numerous "Vanilla" cards) which now has morphed into SecureSpend. No need to "sign up" to use those cards, but does take some stuff to get it to work. Check the defacto nat'l SB thread in Richmond VA as these cards get discussed there frequently and IF one reads the history (THE HORROR!) for the last 6-months they will surely find info.

Yeah, I didn't know about the securespend card, I'll give that shot if my attempt doesn't work out. I tried getting some "blackhawk" network cards before, which I believe runs off a similar concept as what you're saying, and I couldn't find it at my local retail stores, so it was a real PITA withdrawing cash, then driving around to various stores with no luck, so I do want to avoid physically spending time on something that might not work out if possible, which is why I'm going to try it my way first. Very little time commitment on my end to see if it pans out.

I'm really not too worried about LE and stuff, technically nothing happening on SA is illegal. I'm more worried about them getting hacked and a list of people who paid for their services becoming publicly available. So as long as I'm not filling anything out on SA's end with my real info, then I'm not too worried, and don't personally feel any strong need to use Tor or anything. Other sites, maybe I should be a bit more careful though.

You get the same anonymity with the prepaid SecureSpend card, so why reinvent the wheel? Just saying. No need to "sign up" with name or address with the prepaid card.

Where most guys fail is they use their real name, or a moniker that is close to their real name when they fill out the sign up stuff and profile. An SO or her attorney can make reasonable conclusions from that. Also, I remember LE connected the dots on guys who did the above, when on the Elkton escort site. So there is that.

Also think about using a non-static VPN and / or an anon browser like Tor. Various ways you leave tracks, like your IP address when yous sign in to Seeking.

One can make this as secure as possible or ignore some of the steps. It's up to you.

For me, anonymity means if SA gets hacked, my info doesn't go out to the internet.

So with virtual card or these rebate tricks, since I'm using dummy names and addresses as the billing address, even if SA gets hacked, it doesn't mean anything to me.

Now if someone hacks SA, and then hacks the rebate place or the virtual card place, and links the account info from both sites together, then yeah I'd be in a bind, but that seems like way too much work to be worth the trouble for a hacker.
