For guys who like light seafood snacks before drinking and cavorting with hot chicas in the bars, tt's a small place on Constitucion South of the alley and the terrible Chinese restaurant Fuhao, closer to calle 1, across from hotel Korea. He serves delicious, fresh, high-quality seafood in generous portions, much better than La Perla and the 2 stands on Coahuila.

Half dozen raw oyster, clam or cockles on the shelves, 75 pesos or about $3. 80.

Shrimp coctele mediano 90 pesos or $5, a globe full of large fresh shrimp in salsa, lime juice and hot sauce.

3 fish tacos for 90 pesos or about $1.50 a piece, large fresh deep-fried fish with salsa and cheese sauce; 3 shrimp tacos for 120 pesos or $2 each, large fresh shrimp.

He has a small fridge of cold local beers, like Tecate. We bring our own favorite beers and just tip him. You can sit at tables on the sidewalk with a gaggle of street girls waiting nearby, or inside the now-closed Kentucky Fried Chicken. We usually come here to use the restroom right after arriving in TJ, then have some fresh seafood snacks before hitting the bars. Recommended.

Was lurking here forever and don't get out much to the west coast (from New England). Did make it down however and reading the posts by Capt. And other really helped. Hadez.

A lot of people are now traveling to Mexico to make up for a year of travel restrictions. Traffic across border back to US is unpredictable and typically very heavy any day, any time, both on foot and in car.

Last Sunday 10 PM the Ready car lanes was estimated 5 hours wait, foot 70 minutes. On Saturday night the week before after midnight, the returning lines were double those.

Whom did the Mexican policia vouch to? US CBP?

Just for info- I went in early April on a Monday. It's important to note my last trip was mid-2020. Ran my usual circuit and tapped out later than normal at 2 am. Upon completion, I was dropped off at the Ped entrance only to find a line that was at least 7 hours long. Moral of the story be prepared for a long wait. Hopefully it isn't, but you never know.

Forgot, noob came back after the first session, drinking with us.
