Since there are some TJ experts in this group, I'd love to know, what's the fastest way to get back across the border?

I never have any trouble going down there, either driving across, or parking in San Ysidro and using the pedestrian walkway. But nearly every time I come back, it's been a terrible experience. The line of cars trying to get back into the USA Is often 3 or 4 or even 5 hours long. And the line of people waiting to cross on foot is often times just as long. The line at Ped East is friggin' ridiculous at almost any hour. And while Ped West is sometimes much better, you never know when it will be closed for some random BS reason. Then you're stuck in the main line waiting for hours and hours just to get back home.

I have applied for Global Entry, but not sure how long that will take to get approved. I heard it can take months. Until then, are there any secrets to getting back across the border quickly? Like, can I speak through one of those cracks in the border fence or something. LOL!

I am really happy to hear they did something about it. I was down there a couple weeks ago and, just killing time, I was talking with one of the security people. This was before I knew what happened to you, but he spontaneously told me that Cascadas has started being much more thorough when searching each girl's things when she goes upstairs, specifically checking for drugs. He told me that they would confiscate anything they found, but if the girl had a prescription, they would return those to her when she came back down. Maybe what happened to you has happened to others, too, or maybe your incident caused them to increase their security. I am sure they do not want something like this happening to customers, especially when they are apt to get a lot of bad publicity when a customer talks about it here or other places. I am glad you came out of it alright in the end, but it sure ruined that trip for you.

Most I have ever been quoted was $150. And I have been down recently (3 trips from east coast since 1/1/24). In that timeframe, have approached probably 50+ ladies. No one was EVER over &150. Most are $120 and are ok with $100.

Finally getting around to writing this report. Spent Sunday evening to Wednesday morning at Cascadas; used the VIP card to get some juicy room discounts. Sessioned with 4 girls: Mafer, Now, Mabeline, and Lili. Mafer was amazing, really sweet girl. Picked her up in Tropical.
