The only bad experience I have had in the area was a full two blocks away from the Main block. I could tell they waited until I was the 2nd block away to start the crap. In addition this was ten years ago.

Stay on the main block. Chicago Club is safe to go. The pharmacy is safe. IMO do not go further.
