So I do on line dating and I am getting tired of the fake ads. You know they are not even in the US by some red flags. Here is what I found are some ways to spot a fake dating ad: Feel free to add to the list:

1. They never live in the state that is mentioned in their profile.

2. Both their parents are dead.

3. If they don't live in the state on the profile they are usually out of state taking care of a sick family member.

4. Their job is in import and export.

5. They use the word "dear" a lot. I guess this is what Google translator has told them to us.

6. Recently had someone say they work for the Army. Very convincing.

7. they can never chat with you on the phone or video chat.

8. They are always looking for marriage.
