Thanks to Lex for his AMP posting. I agree 100% with him. I have never tried a street gal and don't think I ever will. I do enjoy escorts from time-to-time, but I have become a devotee of AMPs. I enjoy the service, the cleanliness and the convenience of my neighborhood AMP. I've also gained an additional appreciation for Asian cultures and am taking stab at learning some Korean.

The first time is a little odd, but I can't recommend them enough.

Strange story on the drunk Korean girl. Nice to extend a helping hand, but there's probably more trouble there than it's worth for just about anyone. I'd be a little more cautious, especially with the knucklehead who showed up.

Rt 1 SW traffic has been light to non-existent this past week. The only talent seen today was the "1" that sits in front of the Fairhaven 7-11. Has LE been out? Are the upcoming elections spurring on the LE?

Cruised Rt 1 Friday night,

Virtually no LE in sight nor any sw's. I followed what appeared to be one by the Duncan through the parking lot to the apartments across from 711, asked a few times if she needed a ride but was shot down. The whole area from 495 to Ft Belvoir saw nothing. Boy I hope this changes.

Does anyone have contact info for Lila in Fairfax? I'm still looking for something close to work.

While I don't know that I've met everyone there in prior visits, it looks like they got a full-cast makeover. Either that or they use a second shift.

I'm new to NoVa. I lived the last two years in Buenos Aires and you can remy posts on that board.

Last night 01OCT2004 at approx 2230 I was going through the drive through at the McDonald's at the corner of Backlick and Braddock road. I saw an asian girl with a nice body stomping/staggering across the the parking lot toward the Giant food.

Picked up my order, paying with my last penny and laid in an intercept course. Rolled up to her in the parking lot and asked if she was OK or needed a ride. She hardly spoke a word of English, accent so thick, you could cut it with a knife. Figured out she was going to Annandale and offered her a ride. She hops in.

I was right on all counts. She was Korean (said her name was Yung, Young ect) I could smell booze on her breath and she reeked of massage oil and cigaretted. Said she had been in the U.S. 1 year. Most likely an illegal alien paying off her snakehead in an AMP.

She was in her 20's about 5'6" with her hair dyed orange, worn up in sort of a punky style. Anyone recognize her?

Held her hand while we drove, stroked her thigh (wearing jeans) at the red lights, I stroked her face told her she was pretty and I couldn't believe she didn't have a boyfriend.

We made our way to the McDonalds at Little River Turnpike and Hummer Road. I pulled into a Little Office park next to it where the was a huge green neon sign in Korean. It's a hair salon that I thought my be giving trims after hours.

I tried asking where she worked, if she did massage, how much she charged, if I could have her phone number. We couldn't communicate beyond establishing that she gave massages. We kissed a few ties, I copped a few feels and she got out. She took a round-about path to the McDonalds, used the restrooms ordered a coffee. Trudged out to the parking lot and had an animated conversation on a pay phone.

In under five minutes her pimp shows up, a 28yo Korean muscle head in a black Infinity with dealer plates. He's looking for her, I'm looking at him and letting him think I'm LE (I despise pimps and smugglers, I say legal, licensed and independent) She had wandered off , maybe to puke, he was calling back on his cell but she wasn't at the pay phone.

I supposed I could have kept some mad money in the car, or I could have forced myself on her (not my style) I was half tempted to call LE on the pimp.

If we connect the dots there must be an AMP somewhre near the beginning or end of my little adventure.

That's the spirit! But with AMP's you have to relax, keep an open mind, and be willing to enjoy what comes. What Lex means is that if you happen to frequent a parlor on an off day or during a time when they are being extra cautious for whatever reason, don't be disappointed. You may want to try AMP's in another location or just come back another time.

OK, gents, perhaps I've been missing out on one of life's simple pleasures: the TS. My next foray into AMP land will include a TS and I will present a full report.

Spent a couple of hours on Rt 1 yesterday between 1pm and 3pm. Not much LE presence compared with Saturday, but then, not much need for it, either. In fact, in 3 round trips between Alexandria and Wally World, stopping by the Fairhaven 7-11 on southbound legs, saw a total of 1 WSW - at the 7-11. She was talking to a guy in his truck the first time I saw her, and was talking two cops in two Fairfax County patrol cars the second time. As was a fellow monger in a white sedan. Seems they were probably just harrasing them, as she was sitting by herself on the curb the third time around. She wasn't great - clean looking but not especially pretty, not thin but not really fat - but was decent enough that I'd have picked her up the second time I saw her were she not busy with Johnny Law. I wasn't positive that it wasn't some kind of sting so I didn't stop the third time.

Well, spending too much time with too little action during the week on Rt 1, so I headed down to Richmond today with better results. Will post a report on that board.

I couldn't agree with you more on just about every point you make about AMPs.

One thing, though, I have had money taken from my pants while in the TS. It happened at Downtown in DC, of all places. It had to have been 6-8 years ago and the mamasan then is no longer there. It wasn't much-maybe $20-but it was meant for my masseuse's tip.

I never carry anything into an AMP except cash. No watch, ring, wallet, drivers license, nothing.
And I use Ustrongmen's idea-the plastic pouch in the TS. The TS is one of the pleasures of the AMP experience, in my opinion.

Gents, I thought I would weigh in with my two cents concerning whether to shower or not to shower.

As one poster correctly points out, Asian women are fastidiously clean. This means that if they are not sure you are clean, you will probably get less than you would if they were sure you were clean. And the only way an amp girl can be sure you are clean in the right places is to do it herself.

Therefore if you forego the TS, you can be sure you will never get any AR, assuming you are into that, which I am.

Lex has been doing AMPS for decades and has never been ripped off in an amp. However another reason to accept the TS is that in many AMP's, the custom is for someone to check your clothes in order to ensure you are not LE during the time you are busy in the shower room. Therefore, especially if you are a newbie at that particular AMP, it is in your interest to take the TS and allow the AMP personnel to check your pockets for things like badges, cuffs, recording devices, etc.

The people who own and run these AMPS are astute business people and have developed their own ways of ensuring cleanliness and safety for your sake and for their own. They don't want anyone to rip you off because that would hurt their business. They are in the business of providing us with a certain kind of pleasure. They are not thieves or thugs. They are way different than the pimps you will run into on the stroll. This, in Lex's opinion, is why this industry should be legalized or at least tolerated. It's much safer in all respects than what we have come to regard as prostitution, even though in the minds of the unitiated, there is little difference.

In addition, what goes on there is kept out of sight and behind closed doors where it should be. It is therefore less damaging to the community than what goes on with street walkers where transactions are (to some extent) carried out in public and where the wares are displayed in public. With prostitution, you have Johns getting serviced in cars and back alleys.

The AMP's may seem to be a bit more expensive, but in the end, it is probably much less costly to society and to the individual.

Lex will get off of his soap box for now. But when you go into an AMP, try to follow their rules. Take the hour session, take the shower, relax, and enjoy yourself.

Saw the ad in the Wash. Po.'s sports section for a new amp in Alex (Camelia Spa?). Said it was on Seminary road and I drove by the location a few days later.

It's in a hi-rise residential building catering to moderate to lo-income renters. LOTS of tenants milling about outside and in the lobby.

I'm wondering if anyone's tried them and what you think. Also curious if any of you have opinions on the safety/security/privacy issues of using an amp in this sort of location.

Love AMPs, in case you do decide to make a donation at an AMP of choice some time after mowing the lawn, look for, or ask for a little clear plastic pocket book. That watertight tool of their trade is intended to help gentlemen like us keep an eye on our goodies whereever we might be wandering in their establishment.

I'll be looking for grass clippings in the shower drain on my next visit!

I have frequented my share of AMPs across the country and, more often than not, I have declined the TS.

Personally I like the TS, as it sort of builds up the anticipation; I guess to each his own. I always shower before heading out to an AMP and put on clean clothes anyway, but the TS is kind of relaxing and seems to put the girls at ease (and me at attention). And, in the shower room before the TS I like to initiate a little contact (of the "no, I'm not LE or I wouldn't be grabbing your ass" variety).

And I haven't yet felt nervous about leaving a wallet full of cash and credit cards alone in the room at the AMPs I've visited while I did a TS. My MO is to leave the tip out in an obvious location while I'm undressing, and leave the wallet in the pants pocket. I now leave the cell phone in the car, since the one time that I forgot to leave it in the truck, the Mama-san asked me to turn it off, and then still acted nervous until I asked her to hold onto it for me.

Obviously, letting one's wallet out of one's sight is something that we would never do with a SW, but to me the atmosphere of the AMPs (at least the ones I've visited) and the girls that work there make it seem very low risk. They really seem geared towards trying to generate repeat business.

I agree that Asian women are fastideous about cleanliness. That's been my experience at the AMPs, and even when I picked up a Fillipino bar girl in Okinawa for an all night party she insisted on starting with a shower. I think its largely related to trying to prevent getting crabs (and maybe not licking anything dirty); I've yet to see a Korean AMP girl who was completely hairless (as opposed to many of the escorts I've been with). I understand that it's something of an honor thing with them.

Appreciate the tip about AHP. Lately I've frequently been on the prowl in 7-11 area, so this could be a good option when I don't find anything right for me on the streets (most of the time).
