Probably because the juice isn't worth the squeeze to most people. Trying to get money back to the US is tough, FOSTA-SESTA is going to grab you up quick. It's one of those "moral" things that is just virtue signaling. I mean, look at our failed war on drugs. The government is being "hard on crime" and trying to use the guise of human trafficking to prop themselves up. Not saying that human trafficking is bad, but as mentioned in tons of debates on the subject online, this actually makes the situation worse by driving it underground. They aren't helping the people who are actually victim to sex trafficking doing this, it just makes it harder to find and help people actually affected. Treating a symptom of it without getting to the root cause, just like throwing drug users in jail doesn't slow down the drug trade at all. It's going to happen anyway, this is the world's oldest profession, treating people who choose to partake in it to earn a living like criminals just doesn't make sense.

I don't think that is exactly correct. The US government only has jurisdiction over sites which have their principal server (s) located somewhere in US territory. The server for any dotcom address can be located in any country.

Maybe all the "reports" lately posted in the Korean Bar Reports thread maybe should be in The Gud Ole Days thread. Nothing new can be added since the quarantine went into place. There are a few tidbits of what some KGBs are doing now, but those might very well be placed in Where Are They Now. Seems to me that some folks are just trying to keep the past alive. Folks, for now, it is gone. The days of getting ripped off in a KB are gone. The days of getting some KBG to follow you out to your car so you might be able to shoot your bazooka are gone. What new outlet MAY come next is any bodies guess. Personally I suspect we'll see some sort of underground community developed much like gaming rooms. Legit hostess bars with no social distancing and no masks are at minimum a year down the road if not longer. So I'm just suggesting that placing all the old stories in the correct thread might be in order.
