Itg's a hit and miss over there. Went ther the week before Haloween, Damm it was full house and the girls were awesome in Bikini's. Seem like the girls come out after 11 over there Always see only the bartended and one customer aroumd 8.

Went to Thai angel the other night looking for mariko but she wasn't working. Anyone know what happened to her?

Last eve (Friday), I was in TA at 11 pm for a few drinks, and Mariko was no where in sight. However, there were many other girls in there. Someone, had mentioned, that she shows up at SP after 2 am. If so, does she frequent other bars prior to SP?

She is around still. Shows up pretty late and can be found at Saigon Passion after 2 usually when she is working.

Looking to check out the bar scene. New to the whole thing and don't have any buds who are into it. Anyone heading out tinight and know the good spots?

Club XO has some Thai girls. One of the owners, Jenny, is Thai. Although they also have Vietnamese and local girls there too. I'd say 3-4 Thai girls here. Younger crowd.

Then there's Club Sabai on Queen Street across from Lex Brodie's and club Sundance. I hardly go there but it's a full on Thai bar with all Thai girls. I have never attempted any play at either of these bars though. Unfortunately I have friend-zoned most of the chicks at XO, and the seat backs at Sabai are too low, making play close to impossible. They do have a private room, but I think that's just where all the girls put their personal stuff and use it more like a locker room. Mixed crowd here. Hope this helps.

Years ago wasn't it "Golden Frog" or sumthang like that? Those were some of my really fckd up days. My pal Lyle, god bless his soul, used to work there. He that crazy madafaka that used to manage / co-own "Princess Something"? In that Nimitz Building. I'm thinking Princess Cafe or sumthang near to that fck no can remember. Maybe you should try Cindy's on Kalani St. I haven't been there in recent memory but I remember had these hot sisters. Try going tgo the Thai restaurant in that Nimitz building and ask 1 of those hot waitresses where's a good place to go I'm pretty sure they would recommend something. Good luck.

Originally named after the owner / mama, a Lao. Pat kept it KP, because that's her daughter's name. Blue "Dolphin" was actually Blue Ocean. They had primarily Thai workers; Lao Star had all the hot young Lao chicks.

Agreed. As I understand it (and you've got to remember these stories are a moving target), about 6 or 7 years ago, Kathy (the original owner) sold the bar. Included in the sale was the name. So Kathy went and bought Cindy's Place and since she couldn't use her name she named it Cindy's Place (which I think is one of her sisters names). Well, that's the best I can figure out. Anyways, I like to have a change of pace from all the bs Bars of Kapiolani and so I hit the Kalihi bars. At least they have a different style of bs plus customers and workers seem more friendly. And the food is killarrsss.
