I tried out TA station and heard from both Sarah and Anna about a place called Babby's in Kalihi.

Sarah made it sound like a restaurant hang out while Anna said it was a hostess bar.

Wondering if anyone goes there and could give me a description of what kind of place that is before I go into uncharted territory in kalihi.

TA station was fun with both the Thai ladies and the couple of Filipinas. But are there other Thai hostess bars out there, or is TA station the only one?

I popped into Thai Sala just to check it out and it had some people singing karaoke, but didn't see hostess girls there.

How about places like Siam Paradise? Just trying to find options out there similar to TA station.

Siam has a few that will cost $20 a drink too include the bartender Apple. Nothing to look at except on some girls birthday or special occasions when they bring in a Thai band. Food is good.

That's confusing LOL. I don't want to buy a $20 for a girl that doesn't give the hostess experience. It kinda infers at that price how it's supposed to go down.

I'm all for the view though, might try play some pool or darts and do some recon.

But the confusion speaks to these places being a hybrid of some sort, just less on the hostesss end, but still having a hostess element.

Those other places listed will encourage you to by drinks for the girls there, but they don't have any real dedicated hostess girls. They aren't anything like TA station. If that's what you are looking for you will be disappointed.

So it's just like buying drinks for regular girl? Are the drinks also regular prices when you buy them for the ladies there?

If TA station is the only Thai bar, perhaps the forum name should be changed to that LOL.

I've been to Korean bar and Vietnamese bars, so to find a Thai bar was cool because it was something different and I was hoping there were other Thai Bars out there.

I like the variety. I didn't know if there were bars of other ethnicities out there like Chinese, Laotian, Filipino etc.

Trying to figure this all out. Thanks for the support. Any tips on other hostess bars that aren't KBs or VBs would be appreciated.

OK. Not exactly a Thai bar. Trying to be crazy rich asians with the pricing but one of the cutest waitresses is half Thai, so I thought I would post it here!! It is in the old Big City Diner spot. Definitely a lot of eye candy and they have a couple of TVs, so you might be able to watch a game, too. One of the other waitresses sat down and drank with us (no up charge. Just we shared our bottle and had another shot). Damn, I wish I were single, young, rich and good looking. I would head to this place.

The old Club Melo is now Onyx. Last two times I went it was 90 percent white girls and even had black. I was shocked but take out was offered more than usual. A few of the girls mentioned the Attic but I've never been. I was quoted 5 by everyone that negotiated with me and I passed (prefer Asian) on them all.
