There are only 2 remaining. Club Starlight and LA Grand. I qualify that by saying that the Asians might have other Hostess Clubs out there but not everyone is invited as most are private clubs. But as far as "public" hostess clubs there are 2 from a high of at least of about 15 that I can think of (this is including the City of Industry area HC's).

If guaranteed full service is what you seek (hell, guaranteed anything) then a hostess club is not for you. For the new HC monger, its really not worth the effort any longer unless you have a lot of game. Its not only about money but to be able to get the girl comfortable enough with you to go out with you. That may take a while and an investment of time and money. And still no guarantee. If you are an MP person, I would stick with the MP as the services you seek are pretty much guaranteed there. HC's nowadays are for the long time HC monger who knows the game and most of the players. Unless you are a patient newby, you need not apply.

I made one of my rare trips to the club on a Saturday night. I got there early enough to see some day shift girls, and there were nothing to write home about. Seems like each and every girl there has had her butt enhanced, and IMHO not for the better. They don't look in the least way natural. But I guess some guy must like it as so many girls have done it. My first "shock" was that the club has already raised the entrance free from $18 to $20. Not that the extra 2 bucks will break me, but its the principle that they keep nickle and dimeing us. Didn't see any new girl but did see a girl who dressed and walked like a streetwalker. Maybe since the cold weather is coming, she made the smart move to get off the track and still earn. All in all a pretty disappointing visit except for the couple of girls I already knew.

On the way home, I also noticed that the sign at Club Fantasy has been removed, so that signals to me that there is no longer any hope of it returning. RIP CF.

Didn't matter much because there were at the most 4 girls sitting on the bench at half an hour til midnight. Could be I timed it wrong but the scene seemed so thirsty and desperate that I bounced to snap a ho up off the gator. Nothing like the fun seedy atmosphere of Club Fantasy a few hours before close on a weekend night. It's a real blow to lose that place for good.

Going to LAG on the weekend. Friday thru Sunday you have the old dudes who clock in the girls and keep them for 3 or more hours. There is a girl I have been trying to get on the dance floor since before Covid struck, and she only works on Saturday. The older guys have her booked all night long. She goes from one to the next. Most of the good girls have that situation. Wasn't as bad when CF and Las Palmas were open but now since the focus is on only two clubs, unless you are willing to drop 3 to 4 hundred not including tip, you ain't getting nothing good on the weekend. So I only visit Tues thru Thursday.

I know I talk a lot of shit. But when it is the truth, is not sentimental. Club Fantasy will be missed.

Yes, it belonged to a bizarre subculture. Mainly for very lonely guys, many of whom enjoyed "dancing" - that was about 65% of the room. The other 35% were us sickos looking to get jacked off by a Latina woman earning money for her family. (So true ... I would say that even the 65% were sickos looking to be jacked off but they wanted the facade of being nice guys) For the 35% it was a cheap thrill ( mmm, not so cheap anymore really... I rarely get outta a club spending less than $200). Fuck, any MP these days, you cannot get a handjob from anything you can check out beforehand for even 100. I think I used to walk out of cf with a load all over my pants and I was less than 60 bucks lighter (That amazes me that you could do that ... the girl usually wants no less than $60 for any kind of action). Plus, the place was a shot unto itself. The guy who ran it (sleepy? ( Andy ran it ... Sleepy was a Manager/Security). The girls who told you stories, and the general star wars mos eisley cantina vibe of the place was unique.

Yes, you knew that the subculture had to die. There was a rumor that the building was going to be redeveloped into a high end pinata store or something. Well, with covid that ain't happening. I have no clue who is going to use that monstrosity on like olive and second by the courthouse. Most people I know are not going back into the office until the booster is administered anally on a daily basis.

But the fact that this covid "nonsense" - and I do not mean it is a scamdemic, but just the total overreaction to it. Killed off club fantasy is a shame.

The memories remain, but the culture is dying. I have been to LA grand and it is for assholes who order too much at a McDonalds drive thru and ruin the flow, and for that I say fuck covid.

Yes covid closed it down, but my understanding is that it is closed is because the owner is just tired of running the club and the city of LA will not allow them to sell the license. So bye bye CF.
