Anything is possible in LA. I mean just look at AMPs, they have now evolved to AAMPs. I think the hard-liquor license is stopping lots of people from entering the business. If you are doing these types of business in a residential area, which I also have heard, it is indeed possible.

I started going there when it was at Western and 7th right next to liquor store. Tons of actions inside as well. Couldn't get enough. LOL Some girls insisted to sit in the corner table not to been seen by manger and other people. I wish there was an another Thai hostess club like Cindy's around.

Yeah. Wish there was another place too. One has to pop up eventually? Girls got to make a living somehow. Seeming that these are such a common thing in SE Asia, I would assume they would gravitate to this line of business.

Yeah, not too many surviving places in DTLA anymore. Most of the places in K-Town, girls sit next to you and pour drink chatting and keep company. Cindy's club on Beverly closed down not too long ago. That place had private booth sitting with Korean girls or Thai girls charge by the hour.

Or you can go to the old Starlight on Broadway in downtown LA. The opposite end of the spectrum.

I would say over 80% of the hostesses have conversational or above English skills. The Mama / Papa sans speak fluently. You can go along, I wouldn't recommend it. Not from a safety POV, more like they might rip you off on the pricing.

All hostesses are open to it, from all locations. My tw girl was from Floral.

Since my post, I have been to a few joints in LA, which I'm here to report back.

Palaces, Rosemead, El M; Spring 17, week night.
This place has private rooms, like those KTV boxes, a lot more privacy. Got to say the ladies quality were low, many of them were burned out from the biz. Sure, given it was a weeknight, the place was busy, with all the boxes occupied.
Price: Low, Upper 300's, we had bottle service, 3 girls waited on us.

The Turning Point, Valley, SG; Summer 17, week night.
Got there at around 9 pm, we were the only table. Stayed till close (1 am), most of the girls were from TW, many of them were cute and rated at 7+. (P.S.: There is a Yelp page on this biz, it's quite spot on, even the pic.) Open seating, if you don't mind.
Price: Medium, Mid 400, we had bottle service, 4 girls waited on us.

Got there at around 10 pm, there were 3 more tables. Very similar to "The Turning Point," they have this open seating which I was hoping they could do better. The ladies were cute, again, most of them were from TW, playful. The music system reminds me of the 90's, with 90's HK Pop on AutoRepeat. (P.S.: There is a Yelp page on this biz, the pics were accurate).
Price: High, almost 700 (tips were included tho), we had bottle service, 4 girls waited on us.

Yes there is. If you see someone you like, you can try talking to her directly. If you talk to the Mama / Papa san, then you need to tip him / her. I got a 22 yr old taiwan girl to come to my hotel room after the place close at 1:30 am. She stayed the night, unlimited times, BB. The next morning, we got lunch together and I dropped her off at her apt. I was able to keep in touch with her, so that the next time she's in SoCal, I can see her.

400 was the damage, which was a bit lower than the norm. Considering the bottle service, hotel & even lunch, it wasn't exactly a cheap date tho.

Tho, couldn't tell they were Taiwanese, HKonger or Mainlander but couple of girls were pretty.

Hey guys,

I am looking for a good Japanese (if not, Korean is OK, but still prefer JP) hostess club recommendation in LA. The one in SD was closed down, it wasn't that good either. I want the traditional hostess club like the ones in Hawaii, Japan & SF. I have been to the Pharaoh KTV in K town. It was more like "KTV singing companion," fun, but not what I am looking for.

There's tee-up in dtla. You need to make appointment. Not sure if they take new clients at the moment.

As for Korean hostess club. There's plenty in ktown. Its more of an outcall at karaoke setup but you can run into some real model material girl's here. Not just korean girl's but [Racial Epithet(s) Deleted by Admin] I remember seeing one of the hottest Chinese girl at an incall karaoke in ktown last year and had some amazing time with her LOL. Incall karaoke meaning place has their own girl lineups. Whereas outcall is basically waiters calling the girls for you from 3rd provider agency.
