Can't help you with the apartment situation but if you go to a parlor, you generally just follow their lead. A few tips are: Always accept a table shower if offered; when you take your clothes off for the massage, take all of them off and don't put a towel on- let them see you are comfortable being naked in front of them and you are comfortable with them touching your nakedness (thus the table shower); when they indicate touching your junk (in the shower or on the massage table) and ask, "OK?
