Stopped by KM today and got Julie. Hadn't seen her for a while. She was tired, said there were no customers, that they were going to close early, around six or seven. We started the story at the end and worked backwards. I knew a guy once who always ate his desert first, just in case the dinner was good and he filled up before he got to the good part. Nighthawk, I agree with you when it comes to 40 or 50 bucks. But I wonder if those rules hold up when really wealthy people (actors, sports stars, pop stars, etc) get a massage. Those guys can tip $500 as easily as one of us can tip $5. I wonder if a tiger woods was getting a massage from a "legit" high end spa and offered $500 for a 2 minute HR would those rules get quickly tossed under a bus or would the girl stick with the 'sorry, I don't do that'?

According to massage therapists I know, the opposite is the case. Reputable massage therapists would NEVER EVER do that, because of the problems that go along with it. The ones I have talked to. Not as a client but in other settings. Have made it VERY clear that isn't a line they will cross.
