Well I ventured out to Mermaids and was glad I did. There were 4 gals working and I had an awesome session with Manda. The rates are $50 for 1/2 hr and $100 for 1 hr. On another forum I have heard several bad reviews for this place. I have not been, nor do I plan on going. Some of the complaints I remember were being rushed and the main lady (Lindsay I think) is kind of crazy- split personality kind of thing. I did, however, here of another girl that works there that seemed to be more pleasurable. Sorry, don't remember her name. I don't mean to scare you away from going, especially since this in not from a personal expeirence- just wanted to share what info I do have.

Tuesday 12/14

Picked up a WSW on North Dr near Rundberg, about a 5-6 on SW scale. As soon as she got in she says she's horny and wants to suck ****. She says to go to this adult bookstore on 183 behind Callahan’s. Went out Tuesday after having no luck on Monday. I am usually out in the afternoons, due to schedule, and the fact that by the time evening comes around, I have had too much to drink. Went out this afternoon and saw nothing. Not a single girl, and I cruised for about 45 minutes. There was a nasty wreck just off Powell and Georgian- an overturned SUV. It was either all the cops, or the soaked streets, but there was nothing there.

I have a friend in Austin who told me the IRS busted the owner of several bookstores in th Austin area. The one you talked about, Another older BIG store out on 71 headed east towards Houston, and several others. According to him the IRS seized them because the owner owed Taxes. Hope that helps.
