Yeah there's still BJ bars. I've never really liked them because the girls there usually aren't that good looking compared to an agogo or a parlor. Pattaya is basically easy mode. The Brits like to go to the bars in LK Metro area, but Soi 6 is great for quick action from the bar. Walking Street in Pattaya is an experience but somewhat overpriced. Pattaya is great for just mongering, but even with the new Terminal 21 mall there, I feel there is a lack of things to do unless all you want to do is drink and fuck.

Bangkok, there is Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy for the main areas. Those are typical gogo bars. Thermae bar is on Sukhumvit in the basement of the Ruamchitt hotel. You basically buy a drink, do a walk around of all the girls standing there and if you like one, ask one to go with you. Very straight to the action. There is also Patpong, which is a currently a shadow of how it was in the past, but there are a few good gogo bars there. Nearby there is Soi Thaniya, which is very much Japanese hostess bar style, even the touts there speak primarily Japanese, if you are looking for a more Japanese experience.
