Assuming you are in Hawaii, or at least the United States, right now, the JPN YEN is so weak, according to GUGURU, (that's Google, pronounced in Japanese LOL) today for every $100 USD, it's 14578.5 YEN. (Approximately $145. _) Braddah, that's 45% buying power. My last trip it was 33%, and boy did I make it rain up there (at the dolloh store Raff Out Roud) since the SO's radar warning was up with my Hinode cucumber being on high alert.

Speaking of which. If any braddah knows a TOP SHAPE place for exchange USD to YEN, DM me. Back in the day, it used to be the one in Waiks' on that side street. Recent reports on some SMS sites said their biz has busted or lame biz now. Mahalo in advance. My good friend said WISE is good. But they charge a fee (doesn't everybody nowadays anyway? No such thing as a free lunch?) But looking forward to my next trip. Salivating over some GRADE A WAGYU GYARU. (That's girl, in Japanese, with the rolling R).

The best rates I've ever gotten came from, of all places, 7-11. In Japan every 7-11 has an ATM. I've gotten better exchange rates there than anywhere else. I have a "debit only" bank account that is separately funded and only used for mongering. Even with the small ATM fee, the exchange rate has beat anything else I've ever done. Of course, you don't get advance notice of the rate but you might want to give it a try one day just to see. Nowadays, I don't bother to take Yen with me when I go to Tokyo. It's just plain cheaper to get Yen from the ATM.

Also I want share to check out Matsushima shinchi. Gaijin ok. Kind of like a sister street to Tobita shinchi. Supposedly prices and service better at Matsushima. Tobita girls might be better looking.

Hinode, stick with Tobita if you want guaranteed action. I enjoyed Tobita way better as a single guy roaming the streets. Kabukicho is only fun if you have a female partner with you. Tough to hook up nihonjins alone. I went to Tokyo twice this past year. Went to the happening bars in Kabukicho with a married female friend I met in Hawaii 20+ years ago. These Happening Bars are about 10,000 - 15,000 Y admission. The female is pretty much free or only 1,000 Y. It includes free drinks and some light pupus. A couple of weeks ago, we went back to Kabukicho and the happening bar. She gets super turned on watching others and having them watch us too. She was originally trying to plan a private threesomeat some love hotel, but she said it's really hard to find a willing female partner in Tokyo. We though about going to soapland, but she said it's hard for a couple to go in. I would need to go by myself as a male. And it's hard in Tokyo as a foreigner even if one can speak fluent Japanese. I went back to Tobita again, after I left a very detailed report about how to find that place, many moons ago. A lot of locals, even though you can speak Japanese, are not too keen about speaking about it. But yes. Grade A Wagyu beef man. Best of the best. To answer the braddah's question (I forgot who posted it, about Chinese girls posing as fake J girls, in bed / backpage ads, he said 'I don't know why they do that') there is a reason. Dakara, Nippon no Josei = ichiban desuyo. Mochirondayo. Sad to say, my 'second' trip to Tobita was nowhere near as good as my first (two trips, yes I repeated) because of the SO. Hopefully, I'll be able to get away and experience Tokyo. And of course, if the results are amazing, I'll be sure to report. Doing research now.

The short of it is, there are so many 9's you become numb to the beauty! And the thing about no GFE on Seishun street is so YMMV! Never felt so much connection on a first visits ever!

Wow! How do I choose was my first impression of Seishun st. Every stall was filled with a young cutie! All of them were smiling except one, she was more beautiful (solid 9. 5) than cute, so I chose her. Just as I approached some one beat me to her and booked a 20 min session. Mama said come back in half hour. Of course the next stall had a cutie so I figured I'd just kill time with her. Putting things into perspective, price isn't really a big deal. The higher end of "long time" (where you take the girl back to your hotel / AirBNB), which hovers around ฿5000 ish ($145 in today's rate), you're still paying less than an hour at an AMP back home, but for a whole night. That's friggin' cheap. I usually just take them at their first offer, which is poor form I admit, but I really don't care--for reasons I've already stated.

The most I've ever paid for a night was ฿8000 when I was just a young PFC in Thailand doing the annual Cobra Gold exercise, which still wasn't much then nor now. Didn't know any better; didn't care and still don't care now.

Back to the topic, you could just get your feet wet by arranging "short time" with them, which is usually max 2 hours, depending what deal you make with the girl. It costs much less than long time, but it depends with the girl. You will have to do it in a nearby short time room, which is usually resembles either a seedy motel or an off room somewhere in the back, so prepare yourself for that.

Oh, try to be wary of free lancers, or girls not directly affiliated with the bar. The bar does take some accountability (but not really) for their girls if they do some shady shit like literally rob you or leave early before your time is up. Not so much with the freelancers. You'll notice them wandering around the floor without any numbers--the girls who are up for grabs wear numbers on them--offering their services to whomever is willing to engage with them. Or they are outside just hanging out on the street, all gussied up like they're going out. Nope. Those are freelancers and they ARE plentiful.

Just keep an eye out. There are free lancers who are gems out there, and I don't mean to discourage anyone from partaking them, and they could just provide for you an experience that you'd never forget.

Yeah there's still BJ bars. I've never really liked them because the girls there usually aren't that good looking compared to an agogo or a parlor. I could go to Waipahu--doesn't really matter what side of Farrington Hwy--and point out a girl that would resemble a BJ bar girl. The Wood Bar was the first BJ bar I went to and the girl couldn't get me off. After about twenty minutes in she asked if "I wanted to boom boom". Accepted and did her doggy to finish. Are you asking if soaps are better than bars? Well, that depends. While bars can be generally cheaper because you can talk price with the girl, and the Bar Fine is usually a set number, those big massage parlors like Poseidon, Alaina, Emannuel, and La Belle have the girls separated into fishbowls (big rooms) by looks. The better the looking the higher the price. Let's consider the mid to small size parlors.

Mid to small size places, like the ones at Phrom Phong Soi 33 are generally cheaper and fall more in line in price with agogos. The only difference, other than price, is the size of selection and quality.

So what's the difference? You can't take parlor girls home during their working hours. If you strike a rapport with them you can ask them when their days off are and see what you can arrange. Although that may be difficult because many of these girls do this as a side gig. Mind you, I tend to favor massage parlor girls because it's really no-fuss-no-muss, sabai mai mai sabai with them.

As for the bar girls, they are only as limited as your funds are. Downside: they can be volatile. That's a topic for another time.
