I would think all of what you've mentioned would have been done prior to the Celtics taking him on as head coach. He has been in the league for some time.

I think they should start employing different criteria when picking basketball coaches or other sport coaches for that matter too. If you made it to sainthood you can coach basketball. Otherwise. Sorry.

I'm not sure if Udoka going to make a good coach here but I think first and foremost the team should hire a renown PI firm, like Pinkerton something or other to see if he ever offended anyone by looking at them funny let alone doing anything else. He used to play in Nigeria, I wonder if there is a local girl there that Udoka tried to kiss before eliciting her clearly expressed verbal consent? Do we really want a potential rapist as our Celts coach?

I wonder if looking at all this Udoka is rethinking it; after all they haven't announced him quite yet.

Started with the Lakers team that lost to Chauncey's Detroit I think. Then our Big Three basically opened the gates.

The Celtics big 3 (Garnett, Pierce, Allen) were the result of trades made by Danny Ainge. Celtics already had Paul Pierce. He traded a lottery pick for Ray Allen. Then traded Al Jefferson and players for Garnett. I have no problem with GMs doing their jobs and making great moves. I am referring more to players like Lebron who think they are GMs working with other star free agents to figure out where they will end up together. The fact that Pat Reilly won GM of the year in Miami was laughable. It should have gone to Lebron.

Rooting for Phoenix but if Atlanta wins I would be good with that too. I just want to see a good entertaining series. I am just glad the Lakers and Nets are out of it. So sick of these players colluding building their own super teams. Made the NBA unwatchable.

Who's your favorite to win the NBA Trophy this year, I got Phoenix. They look 'dialed in'. Of course, CP3 is not in the line-up due to his injury. When he is, they are a force to be reckoned with.
