First real test of the season, on offense & defense both. Pats have a boat load of players hurt, not to mention James Develin who's key to our running game & is out on IR with a neck injury.

It will be eye opening to see how our lauded defense holds up on all fronts, from the backend to the linebackers to the D-line.

We usually own Buffalo but every once in awhile they rise up & kick our arse.

We all know the Patriots are the platinum standard in the NFL

So, here we are in 2019 and the talk around town (Saw the commercial on NBC Sports) is the Patriots possibly going undefeated this season. So, I ask all of you, would you rather have a perfect season en route to the Superbowl or three more super bowls?. Lets hear it!.

If BB wants to to undefeated then were going to but hes been on record saying it woulda been good for the 07 team to lose a game at some point.

But were going undefeated if BB lets us. Nobody in this league is even half as good as us. Mayybe the chiefs. Theyre our only competition and their defense is a joke LOL.

If the Patriots cut, you lose because of the off-field behavior and, we all know the Patriots are the platinum standard in the NFL, his career is likely one and done. There is an undertone in our society that there are groups of women who will prey on men who are just doing what they view as "normal" and women are taking advantage of their normalcy. It's going to get far worse than better for AB, that is for sure.

Isn't it much less troublesome with the working girls though? Many of them are much better (let alone significantly more honest) human beings than, so called, "normal" women anyway. And in the end you end up paying much less too and what you do pay you pay only with money LOL.

I think it's very possible (I already talked about it in one of my posts below) but I think there'd be an emergency NFL competition committee conference right afterwards. A lot of rule changes would follow in regards to who can sign with who and under what circumstances.

The way AB "drama"ed his way out of Oakland so he can sign with us (really with Tom) should give everybody a pause. This team was basically 19:0 bound before AB showed up with Dorsett (seemingly) coming out strong, and Josh (hopefully) keeping himself on track. Now with AB, and an apparently hyper motivated AB at that too, even if one of our 4 potent receivers goes down (or AB starts causing issues again and is quickly let go), the team still wouldn't miss a beat.

And don't forget Ben Watson is coming back and I have a feeling that he'd do quite well here again, and-eh, watch for Gronk towards the middle of the season. If it becomes apparent that there is a strong chance of 19:0 I bet he'd want to be a part of that team, and for some sort of veteran's minimum too.

To be real, I think they're just trying to position themselves with the best chance to win each game and the one at the end of the year. It's hard to imagine someone like Bill saying, "Alright. We've accomplished just about all there is. Let's make 19-0 a goal now". In a weird way, I think the 07 Pats may have been better off losing a game or two during the season. They didn't face a lot of adversity during the season. And they got caught up trying to win Madden style. It worked well until they faced adversity and couldn't adjust against a defense capable of taking away what they did best. The AB move does feel like more of a "win now" type of play though. Maybe deep down, Bill and Tom would love to have it happen whether they'd admit it or not, but it just seems like, at the end of the day, a Super Bowl win on it's own takes precedence over any sort of style points that go along with it. Oh!, and let's not forget N'keal Harry returning soon after his injury as well. This is a SCARY team, man.

They had a perceived and well publicized limitation/shortage in their bullpen all that year.

They overcame their bullpen limitation during the playoff run, by relying on the starters to pitch from the bullpen on their off days between starts.

The Red Sox lost their closer, Kimbrel, and their best bullpen pitcher, Kelly, in the off season.

The Red Sox failed to replace Kimbrel and Kelly, or add any quality arms to the bullpen. Their starters were worn out from playoff run, and never really pitched all that well this season.

The Red Sox this season have led or been in top three in all offensive categories.

You don't think Cora is manager material, based on the overall performance of the Red Sox this year. IMHO, you have not been paying attention or really don't understand the game of baseball, and stop listening to Felger and Maz.
