I couldn't agree more. You show me where any team will come close to this success in not only one but two decades. People have a short term memory around here. This type of success isn't found anywhere in American sports. Appreciate what we had here for so long and realise the grind ahead.

Of course the Pats are my #1. I've always liked those teams ever since I was 11/12 years old. When I started watching Football. I was pissed when the Steelers beat the Seahawks in the Super Bowl awhile back. And also the time when the Steelers won the SB over the Cardinals. I wasn't happy then either. Cardinals are like my 4th favorite team in the NFL. I know you guys reading this think I'm weird. Haha. But hey 2 each your own. On a side note, I do agree with you guys about Cam. I think he's too accidental prown. Fumbles the ball or gets intercepted in key situations. It doesn't hurt to go with Stidham. At this point. Like ya guys said. But I think Bill is still going with Cam. God forbid if they lose to the frigging 0-7 Jets. Then I think there will be a change at starting QB. For the Patriots.
I'm with you on Russell being a great QB but I'm rather cold on Brees. Neither of them is in the league with Tom though. Tom can make all the mediocrities around him play to their utmost potential game in game out. No other sports figure I can think of could do that. Maybe Claude Lemieux in hockey could bring similar intangibles but no team could tolerate him for more than few seasons. That's why he won Stanley Cup with nearly every team he ever played for but he played for a lot of teams (and won a lot of cups with them too). Tom was able to motivate the same nucleus year after year if need be. He'd do the same in Tampa. Tom for president.

That's so true what you said MeatMan.

All the winning they've done the last 20 yrs. To now have this rebuild period. Is indeed worth it. They've earned the rights to have to climb there way up that mountain. Once again. Like you said they don't have any of those guys. So it is now officially a rebuilding process. And Bart Scott always likes to shit on the Patriots. He's a jackass for saying Belichick should be fired. Bill is only one of the greatest coaches in NFL history. If not the greatest. Yet this assclown like you said, wants to fire him. He needs to go away. And not talk about Sports anymore. SMDH. Wasn't he a crappy player anyway!? LMAO. When he used to be in the NFL. And I wouldn't be mad if Bill still starts Cam. But it doesn't hurt to try out, starting Stidham. I do feel bad though for Cam. That he's been having a tough time. Do you Meat or any of you guys ever root for any other teams?? After say the Patriots. It's okay to have a couple backup teams!!

Though I was pissed at Cam fumbling and having time to clear my mind, I got to thinking, this is worth it. Millenials who only knew winning from 2001 onward are now getting a taste of what it's like being a Patriot fan when faced with adversity. This is well deserved. I also remembered being downtown Boston when the Patriots lost SBLII. I overheard one young lady saying "It's ok, well be back in the next Superbowl". The sheer arrogance, eh?. Well, here we are. No Brady, no Gronk, no Hightower, no Edleman, no Chiung, no Bolden, No Lacoste, no Lee, etc, etc. I even read online from Bart Scott that Belichick should be fired. Not happening, assclown.

BUT to keep it real Nr, Bill has poorly drafted the last 5 years. Mostly on offense. Our DB drafting has been decent. It's why we are the oldest team in the league. 20 years of kicking every team's ass were going to catch us sooner or later. The rebuild begins.

P.S. Why is Alex Cora one of five candidates for the managerial position for the Sox and not an obvious choice?. Any baseball fans wanna chime in on this?.

I think Seattle is the best team in the NFL. IMHO.

Cam was holding the ball way too long. If no one open, do your running or get rid of it. Don't stand there forever.

Tampa Bay is certainly coming together. Would not surprise me if Tom has another ring.

As for Monday's game I felt really sorry for poor Hoyer but I also thought that Stidham showed some flushes of being a good QB. I suspect if he were to get more reps last week we could've won that game. We also likely would've won with Cam at the helm imo. Just like with Trump for some reason I was not surprised that it was Cam who got Covid. I suspect though (knock on the wood) that Cam would go through it asymptomatic.
Agree about the Pats game. But now Gilmore has it. The most important players on both sides of the ball. Wondering which other players will come down with it now.

Spoelstra and couple of other Miami players talked about Haslem as being the most integral part of their team that keeps everybody cool and composed despite of him hardly playing any minutes in the series. The main difference between us and Miami was that Miami was cool and composed while we proved especially at the end of the last night's game that we were anything but IMHO.

In addition Stevens just doesn't have equivalents of 'the Truth', KG, Ray Allen and Rondo on his team Tatum and Brown notwithstanding.
I think we are just one piece away and it is having a true center. There will be changes for sure. And as for Stevens I'm not sold on him yet as he could be a Pitino that can only coach college ball.
