I didn't make it out there often, but as far as I could tell, the club was located on a nearly deserted stretch of road, away from any schools, churches, or hand-wringers that would be offended by the activities of consenting adults.

It was dirty and dances were overpriced, but it was an oasis for the sexually adventurous.

A sad end, but an end we all saw coming.

Is it me or is th CTs why group Gone?

Well as predicted by a past post of mine, this may be the end of CTs completely. They were raided Sarurday night at 11:15, with one girl arrested for prostitution. If I am any judge at all, look for a plea bargain by the old man, in exchange for closing the place down. That will satisfy the city of Gary because that's all they want anyway. So the score is: HONEYS: for sale $200,000. TEMPTATIONS: for sale $400,000, THE MANCAVE: now open as a bikini bar with beer and wine, CTs. Stay tuned.

The news about the downfall of CTs is sad. But after reading previous comments, I just had to add my two cents (and I might be overcharging you). There is a big picture here. Take it from someone that has mongered all over the country in just about every type of venue. There is a movement by politicians to rid us of cheap sex. It is popular with voters, especially the Trump base. Of course, it is as hypocritical as hell. Hardly a day doesn't go by that we don't read or hear about a supposed conservative family politician caught with his hands on a secretary or political aide. And I don't see a major movement to shut down clubs with the $500 backrooms or the $1000/ night escort services. The difference is that those of us doing SWs and the cheap clubs don't have political pull or campaign cash. Look at Trump! How many women has been accused of grabbing, kissing, and otherwise molesting? Face it, mongers, times are changing. Street girls are low quality with no other way to buy crack. The girls in the clubs often disgust me with looks, bad breath, and body odor. I don't even bother with massage places demanding a ton of cash before even touching you and chances are all you'll get is a bad massage and maybe a tug. Maybe Pete was not the brightest light in the room. But I personally believe that in today's climate, it didn't make much difference.

6 Ft rule applies to employees. Would not apply to a couple or single lady that visits the place.

I have seen this happen before. Twenty five plus years ago I use to occasionally stop in to the clubs in Lyons & Rockford. There were some crazy fun places. Then the local honchos decided to regulate existing places & not allow new ones. It became tough to stay in business. Eventually they disappeared in Lyons & only a few remaining in Rockford which are now very tame. We'll have to wait & see what happens to the other Gary places as well.

I have to admit, what I first read about the changes I figured it was all BS. Seemed odd that the city of Gary would be that specific. I had some time on my hands & did some web searching. Apparently the city of Gary has in fact set in place some very specific restrictions, fees & requirements. One of the articles mentioned a grace period (I think it stated 90 or 120 days) to comply. These new "rules" seem to be why the Mancave was not allowed to move forward & probably means no new adult businesses will be allowed to open. It does look like the existing clubs will be watched more closely. So glad we all can look to Gary to set the moral example, right? I've pasted one of the articles below. Does anything go on here anymore? I see one post that the city makes them close at midnight. And, next to that post is someone coming with a 20 yr old at midnight? WTF, parking lot sex? Or just BS. I can't see how the city says, get dancers and a liquor license and then changes to back to a club (per city?) then the city says close at 12 am. If part of this is true (this info is all from the CTS forum). Then there must be too many eyes on this place.

Any other info from anyone? This just doesn't make sense.

Stopped by CT 5/4, Sunday. Waited awhile for sara / Red was busy; just the one girl. When she was available I passed. Wasn't who I thought it was going to be. Made excuse and hit the road.
