Maybe we should form a consortium and make them an offer. "Mongers Unlimited", or something like that.

It is definitely still open but be aware that they are never open much later than 10:00 p.m., if they make it that long. You definitely have to hit this place early in the evening because there is no set closing time, they close when business slacks off or when whoever is working wants to go home. The place is for sale and has Century 21 signs prominently displayed, so who knows how long it will stay around.

I stopped in Friday and had a cold one. Normal group of characters were in attendance. For sale signs are up, but no takers as yet.

Can anybody fill me in if this is still open. Last two times I was there it was closed. I've asked this before and nobody has confirmed it. It's a 60 mile drive and I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time. Last I heard the property was going to be sold after the death.
Thank you in advance for the heads up!

I don't know the exact address but it is in East Chicago,Ind. on the corner of Euclid and Broadway. Stopped in there myself in Sept 2004 on vacation and it is pretty much like everyone desribes it. I did park my rental car in the back parking lot and had no problems at that time, but you also can look out the back door and see your vehicle anytime you want to. Hope This Helps.

P&M's is still open although the business is up for sale. I was in there this afternoon and talked with Dino myself. He says that nothing much has changed except Mabel is not there anymore. The bar closes early in the evening depending on when business drops off, but I think it's a pretty safe bet that everyone is home in time for the 10:00 p.m. news. I don't think that they're ever open until 11:00.

I thought this place closed about a month ago. At least it looked closed when I drove past it.
Somebody confirm please.
