It is too painful to look at it still open without any hope of it returning.

The greatest testament to P & M is that, after it has been closed for over a year, we still talk about it.

Unfortunately, it will not re appear. However, something will take it's place, somewhere. Afterall, the girls need a warm place to seek work

I wonder what they did with the pictures they had on the walls?

Some of it was interesting.

The picture of the woman (nude) that people joked was Mable in her youth was nice and the old historical pics were great too.

I love the older bars.

That place was amazing. A wild throwback. Something totally pure about the seediness there. I never saw trouble there. May have been the safest place in town. Tragic that it's gone.

Wow the memories of that place will now stand with all the other great memories of places in that bygone era.... Well at least they are not turning it into a church like they did with Fanny's Greenery.... I still laugh everytime I drive by think about all the sinning that went on in that place....
