I had an old iPhone that I kept and used it. You can get a SIM card from tracfone for 99 cents plus shipping. Once you get the SIM card you can activate your phone and they'll give you a number when you choose your first plan. The plans range from monthly to yearly. You can purchase everything using a pre-paid card. If you don't already have an extra phone then you can just buy a tracfone with cash at a dollar general or Wal-mart.

I know I need to pay cash for a prepaid credit card and then use that prepaid credit card to buy the burner phone and the minutes.
