1. Tell them you want to talk to them on the phone, run the number through whitepages.com . If its a VoIP / Google voice then 99% its a scam.

2. Google reverse image search.

If they pass the above two test, then ask them to do a FaceTime / Zoom / Google Hangout call.

I also have a paid version of whitepages.com that will run a criminal check etc. All you need is First and Last name.

I think there is a market for a startup to do some think like Yelp for SA. LOL.

Grammar is a dead giveaway. Maybe thays why I don't notice as many scammers; commas in weird places, no spacing after periods, weird capitalization and run on sentences are all marks of foriegn scams and I just end up blocking the profile immediately to not mess up my search.

Right now SA has became a scammer's heaven. Just signed up and boy! I have lost track on how many scammers I have found.

Most of the "real" sugar babies willing to meet are your typical ex-BP escorts.

I know it is possible and takes a lot of effort to find "the one" but it's a very frustrating and tiring process.
