The good news is the "church influence" is dwindling.

The atheist, agnostic, non-committed curve is on an upswing.

Aside from that, a clear, logical, tax revenue based argument might just get the issue on the front page. Legalizing cannibis showed everyone how full of bullshit moral laws and the lies surrounding them are. Since legalizing, states have more tax revenue, spousal abuse numbers have dropped, opined issues at ER rooms have dropped, and we all still haven't moved on to heroin (you know, because "pot is a gateway drug".

Sex work is the oldest profession, why are we wasting our dwindling tax money with this shit?

FFS, if the goal is to reduce human trafficking, legalize the business. There is no reason (other than 1900's morality bullshit) to make prostitution illegal. We did it with pot, Oregon may soon do it with magic mushrooms, sex work next?
