Back in 2011 my PSA came back 4.4. The urologist wants to schedule me for surgery for the following week. I'm like, whoa, slow down doc, I'd rather wait and watch. 11 yrs and 4 urologists later, PSA is 9.9. Most recent biopsy shows only a trace amount in one out of 20 samples. So far so good, said while tapping on wood.
My issue now is with low T. Just don't have the drive and energy like before. My current urologist won't write me for any because recent results came back low but still in range. He doesn't know I'm already taking a weekly low dose that I get from a friend but now he's moving.
Does anyone have any extra or know of any sources. Or have any free advice.

Try Rasa Research. They sell research liquids in 30 ml bottles with 30 mg per ml. That makes 900 mg for $26. You control the dosage with a dropper that comes with the bottle. The bottle makes 30-180 doses depending on your research subject's requirements. It equates to less than $1 per dose (for 30 mg dose) and $0. 14 per dose (for 5 mg). They have an email list and will notify you of any discounts (sometimes as much as 30% or buy 3, get one free deals). Please use for research purposes only. https://rasaresearch.com/product/tad...-30mg-ml-30ml/.

GoodRX is great. After I had heart surgery 2 years ago, I was prescribed 20 mg Sildenafil 3 times a day. My cardiologist took me off the med within a month, but my primary care Dr doesn't know it. I can always get one her PA's to renew my scrip every 6 months. Sometimes it's nice when one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. My insurance is a pain in the ass about covering it. They classify it as a specialty drug and it costs about $150/ month out of pocket. I've been using Walmart and GoodRx and an order of 270 pills is under $50. It's easy to sign up for. Use your phone so you don't need to carry a card.

Posts: 177Going to your doctor vs Kwikmed
Over the years I have gotten Viagra and Cialis and then their generics through Kwikmed. They were always rather expensive but I felt a bit too self conscious to talk to my doctor about it. Well, the prices are really exorbitant now. In 2003 I got 30 Viagra 100 mg at $12.33 per pill. Now it is $47 (or more, depending on quantity ordered) per pill for Viagra, and at least $35 for generic Sildenafil. I finally asked my doctor about this. She wrote a renewable prescription for 6 Sildenafil, and gave me a GoodRx card as she wasn't sure if insurance would cover it. My list of daily medications for blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. Has grown as long as my dick used to, so I'm glad she signed off on the additional pill. At my local pharmacy I wound up paying $10.03 for 6 pills. My insurance (Medicare / Wellmark) did in fact cover this so the GoodRx only gave me a $0. 70 reduction. Price without insurance would have been $144. Wish I'd done this sooner.

If you're looking to take the pills every day then the cost will add up, but if you use as needed then a 30 pill prescription with GoodRX is very cheap and no need to have insurance payments involved -- if you are trying to limit the knowledge of an SO about your prescriptions.
I just printed an add that said $2.30 for Osco. They said that price wasn't correct but I paid $9 something for 30 pills.
