Theft during lap dance led to shootings, charges say

A stripper who stole money from a man as she performed a lap dance at an after-hours party was among four people later shot by the man after he discovered the theft, according to new charges filed in the case.

Among those shot was a woman's fetus.

Jerome Artell Scott, 35, is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, four counts of first-degree reckless injury and one count of being a felon in possession of a gun in connection with the March 21 attacks.

According to the criminal complaint:

Scott and the victims went to an "after set" party above a barber shop at 4375 N. Teutonia Ave. He began dancing with the stripper, Litisha Bray, and they later went into another room where she took his money during another performance. When he noticed it was gone, he confronted Bray, who denied taking the money. Others came to her defense and Scott left.

But when Bray and her 35-weeks-pregnant girlfriend, Alice Ewing, left the party about dawn, Scott was waiting outside, and fired into the car they had just entered. Both suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Ewing's baby was born shortly thereafter, with a bullet in her tiny foot. A man who had also left the party was shot in the elbow as he tried to run away, and another man standing in the door of the residence was shot in the shoulder.

Ewing and her baby were still hospitalized late last week, according to the complaint.

Police arrested Scott the next day, and found the gun in his car. The complaint states he admitted to the shootings.

Instead, she spent the entire time massaging circles on my thighs. About 15 minutes into the session, I said "OK, we need to get started. " That’s when she excused herself to go to the bathroom, then returned about 10 minutes later still dressed.

Now get this, she then tells me ‘well, we don’t have time to really do anything else, so how about I give you a discount on everything you want the next time you come back’. She must have spent her time in the restroom hitting a crack pipe because she could not have been in her right mind to think I would return for another session to listen to her talk about her cats & rub circles on my thighs. At that point, I demanded my $50 back since she did not give me the greek service. She hesitated, but then did give me $50 back (I wanted to drop kick this bitc- in her neck for wasting my time & cheating me out of $100). I got dressed and left.

I guess I did learn one thing from my session. If the girl is not willing to do the LE check, something is wrong. I guess this goes for CL providers as well as SWs. Too bad it cost me $100 to learn that lesson.

Maybe I’ll have better luck in Chicago!

I went down to the Bear Chest the other night and the place basically sucks now. The hot blonde bartender (she goes by the name of "Trie" pronounced "Tree") is a joke. She spends the vast majority of her night chatting with the black bouncer/ID-checker who shouldn't be sitting at the bar! He should be manning his post at the entrance for christsakes and letting hobbyists and customers chat up the bartenders/dancers. Then he'll always will ask for a tip when you arrive. Give me a break, the tips are for the women, fool! He actually fucking says something to the effect of "b/c you look safe and I won't wand you or frisk you, I could use a couple bucks in tips..." totally uncouth, we go to the B.C. to tip the women, not some fucking bouncer/ID checker.
Then one of the dancers, after giving a few 'dollar dances' to a patron, tried to grab a bunch of his singles off his table and that started a shouting match.
Then I ask the hot blonde bartender (by the way she is hot but she's 40 years old and her face is definitely showing the signs of too much sun, the old beat up catcher's mitt look) if she does lappers/private dances (all the other bartenders do them) she says she'll only do a lapper for .100, can you believe that sh't?! A .100! Then she says she'll do the private dances for .200 (all the other dancers charge .100)
Also, not that there is anything wrong with black chicks, but every single dancer is black except for one white dancer, all the rest are black. I like black chicks but I also like a few white gals mixed in with the black ones.

The Bear Chest is a joke right now. Probably when they get better management/ownership it'll change, but my advice right now is to stay the fuck out of that place.

Town of Middleton: A bar in the Town of Middleton is challenging a Dane County ordinance by turning their place into a strip club. They're fighting in court and they are fighting on stage.

The Outer Limits Gentlemen's Club is now offering adult entertainment.

"The zoning ordinance clearly forbids the kind of entertainment they're saying they're going to provide without a zoning permit," says Mark Hazelbaker, a lawyer representing the Town of Middleton.

Radomir Buzdum is a Watertown bar owner. When he got the liquor license for the Outer Limits in June, he said he wanted to run a nice neighborhood tavern, but business was slow. So in August he decided to turn it into a strip club, preferably full nude, but for now the dancers are wearing bottoms and pasties.

However, the Town of Middleton and Dane County zoning ordinances say strip clubs need to be placed in industrial zones. There is no space available, so last week Buzdum sued the county and the township, saying the ordinances violate the first amendment and they are unconstitutional.

"Their interest in the first amendment is; they want to put naked women up on the bar so that leering men can pay a lot of money to see them dance," says Hazelbaker. "Let's be real blunt about that."

Hazelbaker is defending the Town of Middleton in the lawsuit. He says it's up to the county to enforce the zoning violation and it will be up to a judge to issue an injunction against the adult entertainment. "I believe the county's ordinance is perfectly constitutional, and it will be sustained. There will be no adult entertainment offered there."

A lawyer representing Dane County says they can only start legal action after they receive complaints about adult entertainment and a zoning violation.

Buzdum says they are not trying to violate the law, they are only going as far as their lawyer says they can. He's confident they will win their lawsuit and remain open as a gentlemen's club. Calls to Buzdum's lawyer were not returned.

It was a strip club back in the late sixties, early seventies. I know it was called Diamond Don's and also Hare's Bunny Hop or something like that.

The owner cites his reason as business being slow. Well guess what? Every few months another business or club moves into that rotten old building and fails. It is just a miserable place for a club, no matter what type of club it is. With that said, I like strip clubs, an quite frankly that area of Middleton is mostly industrial and farm anyway, it is basically the start of the wide open space between Middleton and Cross Plains, so I don't see a problem with getting the zoning changed.

What the heck is the real problem here? I have visited strip joints for years. And noticed that these types of establishments don't have any trouble compared to some businesses. HEY MIDDLETON! Scatz is a great example 99 police calls in 6 months. Fights and over-serving, on a regular basis. I HAVE NEVER! seen these types of issues at strip joints, you know why? Because people can't afford to drink large amounts of booze and beer at strip clubs. Most visits last a couple hours at most, and patrons have to be civil in the places. Any type of rude or crude behavior, you are "kindly" escorted out the door. But I do agree, zoning is law.

John's been planning to open this club for awhile and he's the noise behind this business. John owns SILK EXOTIC (Milwaukee and Juneau) and is probably trying to lay low on this one so he doesn't have to deal with the legal stuff and public relations. On all the job ads for this club, Silk is the contact. John just has some elaborate scheme going on that involves using this other guy for a cover.. IMO he doesn't need any more money anyway..but at least John treats his entertainers well and gives them good security. His clubs are high class--his girls are not anything to look at. You won't be seeing any fine women at Silk, so you might as well head back over to Bristol. This is coming from a woman, by the way

I don't recall it starting as a strip club. It was a bowling alley. Nonetheless, that space has had lots of problems since it converted to bars. First a hip hop club now this. Bottom line, this dude knew the rules and zoning and is violating it. He is renting. I wonder if the owner knows the next lawsuit will be against him for allowing people to violate zoning/other laws time and time again in his building.

While I will not go to this establishment, I agree that they should be given the right to operate this bar as they seem fit. People telling others what to do with their business is pure bull. If this place tuns out to be a problem for the police or whatever, they can always shut it down then. Agree, if you are working there on your own FREE WILL, it is not exploiting anything. People (ADULTS) should be able to determine where they want to work without a few "do gooder's" trying to tell them they are bad or being exploited. What ever happen to the right to choose in this country?

This is a perfect place for this, there is pretty much nothing around it and it used to be a strip club before it was a bowling alley. There have been several people that have tried to make a go of this property, but it is so remotely located from everything else that they attracted very little business. Except of course when there was hip-hop offered that the sherrif's office quickly clamped down on.

While I dont believe in putting this out in public display I do believe our tendency to suppress and make sex a dirty or bad thing is an element of worse behaviors. So denying this on the basis of what it is, to me is not a good idea. Balance is the key, and we dont have a lot of it.

I'm just glad it's not in the Town of Cross Plains. That would have shot the property value into the ground. I'm sure Sam and H are glad it didn't open next either of them. However, I know that Black Earth and Blue Mounds could use the tax revenue.

I refuse to accept that these places exploit anything. The people working there are doing so because they want to. No matter the job, if you choose to do it, you are not being exploited. If you are being exploited, then you are being forced to do something against your will. I think a bigger problem is that some don't respect people's right to make those choices. They wish to impose their opinions on all. In a free nation, that imposition is truly out of place.

So don't drive by on your way home. These are the best run gentlemens clubs you'll see anywhere. If you don't like it, don't go and don't worry about the rest of us. State street has more trouble and more exploiting of women that this club will. Maybe once your town gets the additional taxes for the business it brings in you'll change your mind.

Dick, how is your daughter going to know what is going on in there without you telling her. Who cares what goes on inside as long as no one is getting hurt. Exploiting women? Those dancers make a lot of money in tips and this is probably the only job that they could make that much money at. I just wish people in this country would just let people lead their lives without interfering in everyone else's business. Nudity is only dirty in the minds of the perverted, otherwise the human body is a beautiful thing. So, Middleton, grow up, mind your own business and let the place be what it wants to be.

The Outer Limits moved in very quietly. Once it opened there was no promotion for the place at all that I could see. I never saw any ads. There was no grand opening announcement. The parking lot was empty every time I drove by. And then, BAM, lawsuit. I think this was the intention of this guy from the very beginning. As a resident of the Town I would prefer that it not be there. I don't look forward to having to drive my daughter home past a place that exploits women. Simple issue for me.

Holy Jebus, it isn't a bunch of learing men staring at naked women. As I have said in the past, look at Chubby's in Wisconsin Dells, they are very near a lot of family businesses and no one has a problem. The thing is, these women are inside so no one who isn't supposed to see them is seeing them. By the way, I am a woman and love going to Chubby's so I would love to have a strip club closer to home.
