I did think about the fact that the right wingers and moralists who (as we all know) visit our AMP's might lay low for a while until this all blows over. However, that can't last too long. We ALL get 'the urge' eventually, and the same people who ignorantly and blindly supported those that attempted to kill this whole thing will eventually request, clamor, and even beg for the very thing they attempted to destroy through their short-sighted and haughty positions on morality.

They may turn to the independents, but this carries it's own set of risks. With an independent, if you are not a seasoned mongerer, you stand more of a risk of getting attached and associated to the provider(s) you frequent (either mentally or through familiarity). You certainly loose the cloak of anonymity, which the moralists must all have when they partake. Think back through history on the many politicos who have met their downfall because of 'discovered' relationships with the 'wrong' woman. There's something to be said for the relative anonymity of the AMP's.

Fortunately, these are not totally stupid people. I believe this will blow over quickly due to need. Looking at the absolute extreme worst case, they'll only allow this crackdown to either continue until it has all been driven so far underground that only the 'elite' can partake, or until they can find a way to let it continue and profit from it. And, since power and money are synonymous, some form of both would most likely happen.

I just returned from a trip to Germany. A western, modern country. This is both legal and regulated. What in the fuck is wrong with US? We really need to extract the stick. No, no. The entire TREE TRUNK out of our ass.

I wish I could agree with you. For one thing, the officials or police or hypocritical politicians will know that the worm has turned and that they should stay away from the AMP's for a while. So their chances of getting caught up in the net will be reduced compared to the average Joe's chances. I also wish I could believe that it will all blow over. But it is clear that the right wing in this country is seeing their influence grow. They must be thrilled that they can impose their morality on the rest of us.

Of course in the long term, the pendulum will swing back the other way. But this kind of sea change can take decades. Once they have begun to close the AMP's, don't expect them to reopen again for at least a generation.

By that time, it will be someone else's turn to run the sex industry.

The pursuit of happiness led me to DT yesterday after work. I ascended the staircase and greeted the mamasan who escorted me to the room adjacent to the TS room. From my experience, the providers in many AMP do the same thing in their native country but choose to come to U.S. because they can make more money. I welcome their entrepreneur ambitions.

The situation is not getting any better concerning AMPs in DC. DC had been the last bastion of freedom in the pursuit of happiness and freedom in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Look at Waldorf for what has changed from the land of Pleasant Mongering, to the Mongolian Desert. Look at what L Street in DC, in the Marion Barry era has changed from an adult toy store to the yuppy politically correct land of property developers. 14 th Steet brings higher property values as banks than as adult only areas.

Who would have thought that the open air adult activities under Marion Barry, as Mayor, could ever be stopped. L Street was wide open. "L" was the shouted warning that LE was approaching. It was great, but L Street fun did go away. AMPs might be next.

Spent some great time at AMP this afternoon. Momason, an old buddy, said that things might be changing to well known clients only. Should an unknown mongerer present himself to be servised, they will either be denied entry or offered an actual massage!

However, being established as an old and trusted mongerer, will provide for admission and activities from the good old days, that are still available, but in danger.

You are absolutely on the mark with your observation. This is exactly what is about to happen. They'll try to link the AMP's to funding terrorism, the destabilization of America, or some other bullshit like that. Then they'll label them a threat to America and use all of their new found powers in an attempt to shut them all down...all in the name of "protecting us from the enemy".

However, unlike the recent Post article says, I do not think the customers will get wrapped up in this in a big way. We'd all probably be quite surprised at who frequents AMP's. If it came down to really cracking down on the customers, they'd wrap up too many of their own 'moralists', and the moral double standard would once again be revealed.

This crap won't last. We'll just have to ride it out like we have before.

I went to that place by the MCI Center. The one where you need to bang on the metal gate by the chicken resturant only to find out it is the wrong door. Sorry but with things going as they are I will keep this review a short one.(Wayward One please score this as a (?) as I cannot give a full +)

My first time with her, nice overall appearance but the tan and extra hard bolt-ons were a turn off.
