I had to make a trip to the area, so I stopped off by Pacific & 272nd to try and track down the elusive (for me, anyway) Danielle. After a couple of cruises, I saw one WSW, about 18, blonde who was walking the walk, but that was about it; another hobbyist swooped in on her before I was able to, but she turned him out. I tried about two minutes later; she didn't even say a word, just looked at me, my car, back to the traffic, and walked away. I'm pretty sure that this wasn't Danielle; I found myself standing next to her in the AMPM on Pacific, and either I am a lot taller than I think, or Danielle (if this was her) is only 5'8" barefoot, 5'10" in the heels that she was wearing. This stuff happens all the time. I have a feeling it's more prevelant in the Escort industry though. Remember the guy in Mukilteo that was shot in the head by Darwin Williams? I wonder how many people they ripped off before they resorted to violence.

It's probably best to let it go and warn others. There's really only one way to find out if the girl advertising is the one that ripped you off - make the call. Really though, what are you going to do if it's her?

If you are looking for a recommendation there are other boards where you can read reviews of Seattle area escorts. I have a feeling many of them are posted by shills though.

I agree with Tman's and Civ's comments, and my track record is also fairly good in the Seattle area going back 15 years. However, the SW scene is not without it's hazards.

Remember the monger who got stabbed in the gut by a ROB SW in the Ballard area this year? Then of course there is the infamous Pepper Spray Ashley. I have also been followed a few times by pimps who would not back off until I brandished my legal carry gun. Then there are the vigilanties, some of them have tailed me too in the past.

Even a few of the most well known SW's will not hesitate to scam you if you act like a mark. My point is the SW wild side exists. Overall, you need to be alert to everything, just like with an outcall escort. A legit escort will have accuate pics on a website. Generally, and I mean VERY generally, escorts are usually better looking, less likely to have an out of control drug habit, and take better care of themselves. You get what you pay for, or you should not pay for it. Not at all to say there are not SW's that are escort quality for alot less. It's just more hit and miss with SW's on service in my experience. You are in more of an open environment by definition, and there is alot more that can happen.

For the benefit of newbies -there are pros and cons to each variety of the hobby, but neither facet should be taken any less seriously by those who are not experienced, as well as the experienced. Dealing with the known is usually safer. It's alot more of a risk when you are a newbie and naive.

BTW, there are ethical drivers, for Indies especially--I used to be one. You never saw or heard from me unless there was a REAL problem and/or safety issue. I did not work with drama queens or scammers.

I also totally agree with you about SW's being much safer than the escort scene. I, like you, have only lost a minimal amount of money to 3 or 4 cash and dash over the years, and have never been arrested or had a run-in with a pimp.

I would get nervous about having to give an agency my name, address, phone number, name of employer, etc., just to get them to send an unknown commodity to my door. Then, almost always, they have a driver with them that can be every bit as menacing as a pimp. I know that every so often on the other board or CL, a customer gets publicly outed by an angry provider. Its never happened with a SW.

Also, how many times has an agency gotten busted, and the police have all the names of the customers, their particular kinks, etc?

So, anyway, on the streets, I get my pick of any girl I want, can drop her off immediately if we don't agree on price or service, and I save a ton of money and hassle in doing so.

First time post here, several years in the hobby. First of all thank you guys, I don't get into Seattle a whole lot but when I do I really love to indulge on the local talent. In response to avenue there are other boards that do have some good review information though some do sound a little peculiar to say the least. I have had some really bad experiences with services in the past as well. Even though I am very large and have several years of martial arts, I just don't know what is on the other side of the door. Best just to leave it and count it as a loss, it is not worth my life.

There are plenty of quality girls on the strolls and you can get a good look to see if they have a "friend" with them. Be safe and thanks guys, will post my adventures for now on.

Sorry I forgot to mention this earlier. About a month ago I saw an ad in The Stranger for "Diamond" with a phone number and, lo and behold, there was a picture of that sweet little paranoid BSW wearing a bikini that almost held those lovely melons in. On December 24 a newbie to the board, Avenue, posted a comment about his experience with an in-call advertiser. It was a long post and I will not quote it here. Because of the posting delay I just found it.

Avenue, the experience you describe is one of the reasons I am in this end of the hobby. I don't knock anyone else's hobby, but I know that a lot of guys wouldn't think of picking up an SW, but use in-call and escort services. If it works for them, fine.

But one reason many men give for avoiding SWs is that they're more "dangerous" than in-calls or escorts. I disagree.

In something over twenty years of spawning among street girls, I've had four "cash and dash" experiences; I've lost a total of less than half what you lost to Bayley. I've never had a run-in with a pimp or a "thug" (which is what escorts call them) because I stay away from guys I don't know unless I've talked it over with the girl first.

I've never been arrested, mostly because I do a lot of recon and I'm totally paranoid about any girl who won't get into the car before talking business. For all the "discretion" escort and in-call agencies advertise, how "confidential" are they going to keep your name when they get busted?

In the time I've been cruising, on and off, I've taken maybe a dozen hoes home with me, and that was only after I got to know them. I've gone home with about twice that number ("home" usually being a fleabag motel), but only after I knew them for a while. On the other hand, when you use an in-call or escort service, you're inviting someone you don't know to your home.

Finally, have you ever called an agency because of the hot chick in the ad and had Ugly Alice show up? On the street I at least get a look at who I'm getting before I get her. And sometimes (look up "Ariel" with the search function) I get a really good surprize.

Just some thoughts at the end of another year spawning with the street girls.

By the way, Jimi, I found Jenn with no problem. Thanks for mentioning that she had modified her stroll.

Strange comments! I think many in this forum had wished that they lived in the SD areas so they can cross the border. I've been down there several times myself and loved it. Many of the girls up here are crack hos and fugly, just check out Mr. Peeper's pics. To make matters worse, LEs are always out harrassing.

After an early airport drop-off, I decided to do a little post-Christmas shopping of my own.

I very slim BSW jumped into a monger's SUV in front of the Raddison (across from SEATAC) at 7am. I think she is is the same one I wrote about on 11 Dec, but I'm not sure. Didn't see her again.
