Recently I'm seeing that after some back and forth and finally agreeing to text that they block me as soon as I give my number. I'm sure it's scammers, but seems like a really time / labor intensive way to collect phone numbers. Are they just blocking me once they see it's an app number and they can't find out who I am? What gives?

For me, the latest trend is them giving me their number and not responding when I text. This has happened to me about 5 times in the last couple weeks. Most of their numbers I verified were real too and not app numbers.

However, I DO use an app number... don't f-ing tell me it's because of "green text bubbles"...maybe that's it.

I have had girls tell me they don't want to respond because of green texts before. Totally bizarre that anyone would care about it.

Come on guys! The thirst for novelty is what makes you a monger. Without the burning desire for novelty there is no mongering. As for bad outcomes, those can happen both with and without mongering. She's had mediocre reviews in the past and she seemed a bit sus but I didn't recall seeing ripoff alerts. I almost didn't go because she didnt seem into it.

One red flag is that she weighs much more than her pictures. Almost unrecognizable.

Good post and excellent research. But I have 2 nits. One, if you've done the research, might as well screenshot the twitter post etc and attach them here because twitter posts can be deleted. Two, as has been said many times before, we (mongers) don't control the market. Market forces are a result of what we (mongers) want and they (the ladies) what. Every monger is going to have a different comfort level and neither you nor any of us collectively can decide what that should be for the universe of mongers.
