In Clearwater off of Cleveland right after the little store and laundrymat on the north side of the road. I shoulder length maybe a little longer brown hair, skinny, in grey sweatpants. Saw two people get pulled over after talking to her through their window. I almost stopped before seeing the two people get busted but a van pulled up behind me and I didn't want to look suspicious so I left. I came back around and a diffrent van was three cars in front of me and talked to her then took off. Right after that I two cops came out of no where and pulled him over. Then while driving by later I saw a another car talk to her and the cops come from no where and pull them over. So be careful guys. I know I almost screwed up.

Crap. Lastly. , would most of you go back to the room of the SW if invited for FS? I am worried pimps being a room that I would go back to? Should I be concerned about getting robbed, beat up. Etc?

I roomed it twice with SWs for FS, something I wouldn't repeat simply because of the experiences (1st was unsatisfying, 2nd was tight but rushed and in retrospect I overpaid. Live and learn). I'd say something not recommended for the first-timer, esp if they want to go back to a skeezy motel. Get to know the area first.

All right. You mentioned being arrested. Is anyone aware of that process? How large are the fines? Do you get taken to the station? How long are you there for? Do you spend a night in jail? Etc. Bottomline. Is it virtually impossible for your wife not to find out what happened?

I also wanted to thank the guy who mentioned the "drugs" in the handbag. I am sure the "fine" against me would be much worse if they got drug possession.

Yeah, I don't really like handbags. But just because they don't have a handbag doesn't mean they're not carrying something. I've never really worried about weapons (but maybe I should), but they're very likely to have drugs on them even without a handbag. If they're in your car and a cop wanted to be a hard-ass, they could join you in the drug possession charges along with the SW. You just don't want to be seen with these girls.

You have to be very careful. The most important time to take care is during the pickup. If I don't know what's going on for a couple of blocks around me, I don't do a pickup. If I see headlights or taillights that I can't make a 100% positive ID on (meaning "not a cop") then I don't do a pickup. If I see other people near the SW, I don't do a pickup. A little nookie is not worth being arrested. You have to be discreet. I don't park where the girls suggest unless I agree with their chosen location. Most of these gals are less worried about getting arrested that you probably are so they'll suggest places to stop that just aren't prudent and they'll let you pick them up in conditions that are not ideal. You have to be the smarter one. They're almost always on drugs. You have to use your BIG head when trying to do the pickup. Your LITTLE head would prefer not to be in jail too so don't let him do the thinking for you when you're out. (OK, I know you didn't ask this, but I just got on my soap box for a second. I'll stop now.)

Some of them are carrying hand bags. I've read on these things never to pick up a girl with a hand bag, as you never know whats in the them. True statement? Anything you can do about the hand bag?

Well, Ponce De Leon is a SW area, but that didn't mean she was a SW. I usually pass on people hitchhiking because they may just be hitchhiking and if they are a SW, then that's a pretty agressive technique. I don't like the one's that wave a proverbial sign saying "Hey, I'm a SW. Pick me up! ". I like them a bit more discreet.

Here's my usual appraoch.

First, use common sense. Some gals give the vibe of being a SW and some don't. You'll get better at figuring it out over time, but if she's dressed in business clothes, drinking Starbucks, carrying a Prada purse, has car keys in her hand, walking in the general direction of an office building with a Pizza, or just looks "normal" then she's probably not a SW even if she's in a known SW area. (However, as you get good, some of the ones you might pass up as "normal" in the beginning start to give off the SW vibe. I've occassionally been surprised sometimes and picked up a real hottie from time to time). If you think they're probably not a SW, leave them alone. Be respectful.

If you think she's a SW, drive past her a bit slowly and make eye contact. Nod your head and smile, showing interest in her. If she runs the other direction, looks away, starts walking faster, or does anything that indicates fear or disinterest, then she's either not a SW or not interested at the moment. (The hunt is easier for a beginner at night. "Normal gals" look scared easier (thus letting you know quickly they're not a SW) and there is a higher SW to regular girl ratio at night. I once made a mistake at night and the girl literally started running, and I'm not really a scary guy).

Once you make contact:

- If she smiles, that's still not a giveaway but it's a possibility (she could just be a friendly sort).

- If she waves "Hi," then it's a possibility.

- If she nods, then it's a possibility.

- If she was on a main drag and turns down a side street because she saw you looking at her, then this is quite possibly a SW. She wants you to circle the block for a discreet pickup.

If she does anything to give you the impression that she may be "working" then pull over in a non-threatening way and see if she approaches your car.

I usually leave my windows up and my doors locked until she gets close enough for me to see if I really want to pick her up (I'm especially picky. I have a steady cute GF and I get it at home, but I like variety. So if they're FUGLY, I pass. I don't do fugly SWs). If I want her to get in then I unlock my doors but I do not roll my windows down (she has to get in on her own without a lot of conversation). If I do not want her to get in then I just drive away.

IMPORTANT: Have absolutely NO conversation through the window, especially about money. If she wants to discuss things through the window it might be a sting operation. I doubt a cop would get in my car and let me drive away having had zero conversation about anything. The most I'll say through the window is: SW: "Can you give me a ride? " ME: "Sure, get in" or if I have a bad feeling then ME: "No, I'm sorry, I pulled over because I thought you were someone I knew. " If they say anything beyond "Can you give me a ride? " through the window drive away.

Thanks that did help. I did pick one up one time in drew park. It was like that she came over and got in said you lost honey. I said no going to a theatre, she came with we got in free. Then I was like oh man she is fugly. Actually I knew that right away, but hell we got in free. Then luckily sitting in the dark she feel asleep. So I just figured well time to move on. That was my only experience actually picking one up. But thank you for your help. I'm gonna keep trying the triable that was talked about on here. Highland Drew Cleveland and around those streets. Is that area still good?

Quick question. New to clearwater. Where are the good streets to find the SWs? There is a shottylooking place called the Pink Flamingo? I can't tell if the girls that walk around there are SWs or not? I am new to the game. I've driven by them. But waiting for them to waive first. None of them have. Good lookin redhead at the bus stop. Can't tell if she just likes to sit there a half hour before the bus comes. Or what?

Or, do you have to go further down on Fort Harrison. Or is there a trailer park or any better areas in Dunedin/Countryside area?

Would love some help. Any cheap hotel recommendations? Can't take 'em home, car doesn't have tinted windows either. Nobody said Mongering was Easy.

You can say that again. I was out and about around 1am up around Ft Harrison and Edgewater and LE was all over the place up and down the streets. Most of them were out there for Mardi Gras in downtown Dunedin, but they were swarming all over the place with what seemed like a purpose. At one point I saw about 4 LE cars going in and out of side streets in less than a minute.

Try not to go around areas that are having public events. LE tries hard to clean up for the public around those times.

I drove up largo Clearwater Rd today about 7pm, and right around Ponce de Leon, I saw a lady south bound with her thumb out hitching for a ride. Now im new to this so Im guessing that, that was a SW? If so, after I pick her up what is proper?
