Recently I've been seeing Alicia in the company of Tara, and Amanda. All have a history of ripping people off, and for Amanda and Tara they ripped me off, check previous posts.

Someone needs to have a word with Alicia, because if she keeps ripping off people, sooner or later a guy is gonna get even... and a SW when out there doesn't know who is after them, or what weapons they have at their disposal. Just voicing my.02, and I doubt this girls evr listen anyway.

I spotted Christine on Tuesday afternoon at approx 3PM. She was crossing Elmwood in her usual area. I didn't stop for her since I had already found Angie.

Three people with ties to the Providence Board of Licenses say they have been questioned by the FBI over the granting of a liquor license to the Cadillac Lounge.

PROVIDENCE -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation has questioned two members of the city Board of Licenses, and a City Hall worker, about the decision to issue a liquor license to a strip club despite a citywide ban on serving liquor in adult-entertainment venues.

Board members Arys Batista and Arline Feldman confirmed yesterday that they had been interviewed by the FBI about a month ago. Richard Aitchison, the administrator for the board, said he also was questioned.

The controversy over the Cadillac Lounge's liquor license began in August 2000, when the city adopted an ordinance that prohibited adult-entertainment clubs from serving alcohol. Clubs that existed before that date were grandfathered.

The grandfather clause was the crux of the Cadillac Lounge's case.

The club opened in 1999, and received both a liquor license and an adult-entertainment license, but those licenses were rescinded because of a technical issue. While the club appealed to Superior Court, Providence, the city adopted its ban on serving alcohol in adult clubs.

Eventually, the Superior Court ruled that Cadillac Lounge's adult-entertainment license should never have been rescinded, and ordered the city to reissue it. The court did not address the issue of the liquor license.

The city did reissue the entertainment license, but it refused to give the club a new liquor license, citing the 2000 ban.

The Cadillac Lounge appealed to the state Department of Business Regulation, where the case lingered.

Earlier this year, the club asked the Board of Licenses to reconsider the license.

A few things had changed since the last time the board heard the club's case. Mayor David N. Cicilline had taken office, and he had appointed Badway, the chairwoman of the Providence Democratic City Committee, and Daniels, a real-estate agent, to the board.

Richard Shappy, owner of the Cadillac Lounge, said in an interview that he wanted to see what would happen with the new members.

Indeed, the new board voted, in May, to take back the club's case from the state Department of Business Regulation. Voting in favor of that motion were Badway, Daniels and Feldman. Annaldo voted against it. Batista was not present.

Three months later, the board granted the license to the club.

Members of the City Council were furious. The council filed an appeal with the Department of Business Regulation.... The Department of Business Regulation dismissed the complaint. The council is appealing the dismissal in Superior Court.

Shappy, the club owner, said the FBI has not contacted him, either.

"I don't know what the hell is going on," he said. "It sounds like a bunch of politics to me."

It doesn't seem to be harming business. The club has been serving liquor since it received its liquor license in September; a film crew has shot several scenes inside the club, with actor Wesley Snipes.

Mayor David N. Cicilline said he had not known about the FBI interviews until he was contacted by the media earlier this week.

Cicilline said he expects every person who serves on a board or commission in the city to act "conscientiously, honestly and thoughtfully."

"No one has furnished me with any information that would suggest, in any way, that anything was done improperly at any board or commission," he said. "If any information were presented that that did occur, I would take very quick and serious action."

In this case , the complaining party is staying anonymous = it's probably either one of those guys on the Board that voted against the CL ; or Cicilline him·self [ or one of his minions ] ; that's my guess

I met this chick named Michelle this morning on Valley. She is a tall WSW with dark hair. She looked pretty good.
