Looks like some Virginia Beach hotels are now listed on the Dayuse app if your look for a short stay hotel.

They have been available for a while, but you may or may not book them for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I had that issue on a Friday at all 3 of the hotels not being available. But it appears that they are available this weekend on all days, so I do not know if the policy changed or if they were just all booked when I tried. At that time, I checked several Friday's and nothing was available. And the best part is that you do not have to pay in advance. You can also book thru dayuse.com.

After the terrifying episode with Julia (reported Mar 17), I urged her to get psychiatric help, and she did, with a prescription for a serotonin re-uptake inhibitor, which seemed to help.

Still, she got to be so tiresome with her pitiful, repetitive messages begging for support and telling me she "loves" me, that I would always block her after a few weeks. Then she'd reappear after a few more weeks with a new phone number (a shy "Hey") and I'd help her out again. Eventually I'd block her again after she ramped up the frequency of messages and become annoying. This cycle has repeated about 5 times. I've given her on average about $200 per month. Sometimes I wonder if I'd be less charitable if Julia wasn't young and pretty, with a slender athletic body and a beautiful smile and smooth dark complexion. We've had some great sex. Maybe a vague hope to revive that, though it would be terrible, is why I don't just throw the burner phone away. Perhaps I need a psychiatrist too, LOL.

In August, while I was traveling, I got a collect call from the Norfolk jail. I looked up the arrest records online and found that Julia had been arrested for cursing and being drunk in public. I could just imagine the little tornado cursing and gesticulating with a beer bottle. But I figured she'd be ok -- they'd let her out after a day or two -- and that is what happened.

Around the first of this month, Julia started another cycle of communication and I decided to not take her word for it that she was stuck in a parking lot with no gas and would miss work. I advised her to call in sick for work and I said I'd check on her in person the next day. She apparently slept in the car and it turned out that her story was true. So, I filled up her tank, gave her $100, and bought her lunch. I had almost forgotten how pretty she is and how charming she can be when she's not in a fit of rage. But I avoided the temptation. I always figured she could find another sugar daddy or a "significant other" or that her family would take care of her. I'll probably end up blocking her again, though I think I'll put up with her until after the New Year.
