One you don't know what shit these people are on and how unpredictable they can be with their actions. All it takes is a weapon and a person who's not in the right state of mind to do some serious damage. Also, if it is a setup like someone else mentioned you don't know how many dudes are around the corner. I got caught up with Daisy back in the day her "man" walks in tells me to leave. I walk out the room and another big dude is out there too. As I'm trying to reason another friend stops by. That's 3 dudes and a crazy ass woman now with just me. No way I'm gunna start shit.

But yeah if someone is already physically attacking me I'm not just gunna play possum because self-defense would be the only solution at that point. But I'd avoid it as much as possible even if that means running out.

I once had an "ex bf" come in and run in back to release their guard dog. Maybe it was a German shepherd or a pug LOL but I wasn't gunna stick around to find out.

200 buck or so is what I'm willing to lose to not get physically attacked with these nuts.

With that being said I avoid apartments now and always ask if they have a roommate if I do decide on an apartment. If I hear another person I bail. But to be safe just avoid apartment incalls.

Anthough you guys do make excellent points too, on why to only keep it to a minimal experience. Meaning sorta transactional, like ordering a sub from a new place. That you never ordered from before, or just ordering in general. But for me, I'd rather a relationshit. A friendship, I should say, but I'll keep myself fully guarded. And it's only a 1 time friendship, most likely. I stopped liking repeats, if I were to do dates $$ with gals. But I'm saying on that particular date session, I don't want no fast hookup. Methinks you've been watching too many movies. Not everything is going to be announced beforehand. There's no smack talk, no tension build up. You have no idea what's in the other room, around the corner, down the hall, etc. All it takes is half a second for someone to get the jump on you. It would be great if we could be assured that there wouldn't be any repercussion or danger to setting a thug / pimp / provider straight. But there are no assurances. Better to live another day, assume you will be hurt and never play in a thief's or enemy's playground. I try to never go against anyone who's much more versed or skilled in something than I am. Why bother. The next time you get the urge, talk to a war vet. Even you guys that have kicked ass and succeeded. If you make this a practice, the odds will hurt you in the end. Or worse. All we can or should do is report.

I'm not saying your wrong, but there's a limit to what I believe we should let go. I've gotten got for a few dockets before, and I get it that's the nature of the beast. But when you swing, I swing harder. Noone is going to get me for loot AND kick my ass. Well, within reason of course, I ain't as young as I used to be. LOL.

He stood there talking shit to me while I got dressed. Accusing me of slapping her, sort of lunging at me and then backing off. He then followed me to the back door once I went to leave. It was pretty crazy. I was trying to talk him down and telling him to relax, that I hadn't done anything etc.
