I've learned that if they say they are at a location and aren't immediately there when I arrive, they aren't coming. I give five minutes as a courtesy then I leave without sending a message. It typically go something like this:

"I'm at 90th and Aurora right now, let's meet".

"I'm on the way, don't move".

<arrive three minutes later, she's not there>

"I'm here".

<no response, wait five minutes, then leave>

<45 MINUTES LATER>

"Wow, I was just walking up when you drove away, why'd you leave?

"Are you coming back?

"You need to come back".

"That was rude of you to leave, you knew I was there. Come back and make this right".

<text messages continue unanswered for an hour>

And that's the way it was this week.

That's what I'm told. I don't have any way of verifying it myself. I know she secured an apartment in the DESC Clement Place on 96th and Aurora and apparently that's where she died. I haven't seen her in almost a year. Clean, attractive and easy but she was already starting to go downhill. She told me the last night I saw her that she switched to using needles that very day. She was using meth at that time and she said she enjoyed it. Not long after I'd get strange, rambling text messages from her at all hours. She'd ask me at 2 am to come see her, then be really angry when I didn't reply. We finally had a big blow-out when I told her to stop sending crazy messages to me. I did a very quick cruise the other night. Girls were out, but so were the police. This is absolutely true. Not a bad time at all, her silence is awkward before and after, though. I always get the feeling of quiet hostility, as if she really just wants to yell at me and tell me how much of a loser I am for paying her, but she comes alive once her clothes come off. I did see her again this past week, she just happened to show up, but she wasn't in the cleanest condition. Sometimes I've seen her and she was clean other times she seemed rather rough. She's got something going on with her dental situation and that will probably really start falling apart. I can see that she's teetering on the edge of really letting herself go.

But if any of you actually do book time to see her, tell her that she needs to be outside and waiting by the time you arrive or you'll leave. And it'll be best for you if you actually do follow-through with that. In my experience if she isn't where she says she'll be by the time you get there then that means she ain't coming. If she contacts me and I happen to be in the area, I'll tell her that I'll be there in 15 minutes. I'll arrive, do a quick scan and then immediately leave if I don't see her. Sometimes she'll send a text after I've left but I just tell her that I was there and she wasn't and I'm not waiting. Save yourselves the frustration. But if she does happen to be there, you'll have a great time.
